I found the music in general to be just kind of blah, if you’re just looping it. I found it kind of hard to operate other than just hitting play, but that’s probably my own shortcoming!! Honestly that’s not why I got this app. I’m a musician and a music producer and I wanted to learn about EDM, I also wanted to learn how to build my own beats. I think this is a really great app for a lot of different reasons. If I was a hip-hop artist I would love it because there’s always new beats being added and they’re not too bad if you’re really creative and have some sort of a trigger to mix up all the samples. You can avoid monotony that way. Sometimes sounds play sometimes they don’t, sometimes sounds load, sometimes they don’t. All music is roughly 4 bars in length of various different types. There is no way of manipulating these sounds. There is a record feature but it’s weak and badly designed. The price charged is utterly ridiculous for the basic set of features this app has. Equally the poor music quality and basic beats of the ‘paid’ for material is shocking, Placing a block on a grid and playing a drum or hi hat doesn’t magically materialise a good beat maker. This is a lazy, badly designed piece of software that the developers don’t care enough about to update or maintain. There is no current information on any social platforms.
