Also theres only 40 songs, I started playing yesterday and i’ve already 3 starred half of them (HOW??!! I miss 30 blocks, should make the ranking waaayy more strict). Im not paying for premium for a game that isn’t even that good. Now that this is a wildly expensive subscription service like every other music game & everything else trying to bleed us dry financially, I’m worried if I update, I will not have my ad-free purchase grandfathered in. It still works, so that’s nice. But eventually it will break I’m sure. Having played the new version, I am really impressed by the new features and songs that this game has to offer and I like the variety of songs that you can choose from. The frequent updates take into account the reviews, so fourth making the game somewhat better than the original version (which used to be very good). I would recommend maybe re-including expert+ levels as I love a challenge - hence the reason why I enjoyed the Godzilla level the most. Therefore, this game deserves a 4/5 stars. It was also kinda fun to play but it gets really confusing because it has a lot of rules. This is my opinion and anyone can play this game, it’s just not for me. And it needs like way more songs. I was like “…Okay, well, maybe it’s just the music producers’ faults.” Then I scrolled down. Seemingly every single thumbnail is made by generative AI. The base mechanic has potential but the circular discs you can’t cut in any direction aren’t very responsive. I was trying to find a game as good as Beatstar but I was disappointed with this game. Especially the awful music and blatant use of AI throughout. I rarely spend money on mobile games and I paid to get rid of the adds for once because I loved it so much. But I just logged back on for the first time in a while and everything is different. The song choice is pretty much non existent and the blocks are so small and in a terrible shape. Like this game seriously used to be fun and idk what happens. The songs available are unbelievably awful unlicensed rubbish! There used to be great songs such as Godzilla by Eminem and a variety of Billie Eilish songs with 4 difficulties to each, now there’s only one difficulty to roughly about 26 songs total not to mention again THEY ARE ALL AWFUL.
