Very annoying for something which should be fun with the kids as I’m spending so much time on my phone messing about with the app issues ### 4/5 — Room for improvement *2025-11-08, version 1.16* * Doesn’t keep me logged in. * Doesn’t remember that I don’t want to see schools or distribution points. * When schools and distribution points are shown, clicking on a beat box in their vicinity pops up details of the school or distribution point instead of the beat box – super annoying. Zooming in fixes it but it’s fiddly and a faff. * Doesn’t consistently keep the map centred on my location when walking around. Sometimes it stays centred for a while, but not all of the time. More fiddling and faff. * Whilst the people obviously cheating (due to ridiculously high scores) are eventually removed it’s not easy to report them, and the app should be changed to prevent that type of blatant cheating to start with. Literally nobody is genuinely getting 5000 gem points a day. * When I first installed the app I found it difficult to find the instructions how to play. I’m playing solo, nobody else to ask or show me. Found instructions eventually but it wasn’t obvious. * Would be helpful for the map to rotate based on the direction my phone is pointing instead of sticking to north. * Would be helpful for every beat box and gem to have a counter above it, showing a choice of: never visited flag, daily visit total, all-time visit total. Info is captured by the app so why can’t we see it? Would help us to identify which we haven’t yet visited. * Your records section: claims my longest streak is 1 day. It isn’t. I’ve played every day bar one. * Your progress section: average and today are apparently identical. I registered the cards and it soon become addictive. My children ask can we walk the dog, go out for scooter/bike ride even in the rain. Which is great as it’s less screen time stuck indoors moaning “I’m Bored”. Fresh air and exercise is what is needed and makes everyone that bit happier. But highly frustrating thing is pop up which keeps coming saying ‘Are you driving a car” when I am actually cycling. Even after selecting option as “Not driving” it keep coming every 5 coming blocking view on phone. It’s a distraction while cycling and a clear hazard. This needs fixing on immediate basis. Then it will be 5* rating for sure ✅ ### 3/5 — Beat the street *2024-05-17, version 1.5* Great app but could do with turning red once you have done them just so you can find yourself easier and know where you’ve been with a quick glance . ### 4/5 — Loving the App but GPS does get stuck.. *2024-04-06, version 1.4* Loving beating the street with my daughters but do find I have to restart the app a lot as it stops tracking my location which leads us to miss gems if we don’t keep an eye on it. ### 2/5 — Not At All Accurate unfortunately and have lost faith in the game. *2024-03-19, version 1.4* My6 boxes I collected yesterday is not showing on the app, on further investigation any I have collected using the card and not my phone have not been added. Sadly it’s not a accurate game :( We have been collecting boxes every day , only missing one day, but looking at app we have plenty of missing journeys. Shame to introduce a walking game that families must take a mobile phone with them to collect the points. Support where very helpful but said it’s because we hadn’t found them within an hour, but that’s not true as the 6 I found yesterday where when my son was at a club that only lasts an hour. Unfortunately we are less inclined to continue playing , as it needs to be played without my phone to collect points ### 4/5 — App is Slow, poorly responsive. Great idea though *2024-03-09, version 1.4* Everything is sluggish in this app from iPhone 7 to the last way iPhone 15. Card registrations fails often, the user interface is very poorly responsive. Click. Wait few seconds to see whether anything happens. 50% of the time, nothing. Try again. The map often lags in location updates (position), direction (shows the wrong orientation with the compass), and the precision is off by 50 meters. Tagged in beat boxes numerous times (screenshotted them all after yesterdays problems), collected numerous gems too, also screenshotted. Only to find out the app isn’t functioning properly and I’ve lost most of those points, around 500!! They are aware of the issue, but aren’t telling people. Absolutely shocking! And they want your tracking data when not using the app so you can collect gems, but if you’re not using the app to collect boxes to unlock gems, it’s all for your tracking data, 24/7! Great idea to get people out, but rubbish app and way too invasive. App deleted and account deleted. First day of using and points haven’t updated on my account from over 5 hours ago? Messages don’t go through to support, eventually after enough tries I got one through. It’s a great idea to get people out, but the app needs improving and speeding up.
