Optimal wäre eine Einstellung Bodenreinigung + Wasserlinie. Das fehlt. Das die Steurung nicht funktioniert sobald der Robo abgtaucht ist, ist auch nicht gut. Das sollte man in den Griff kriegen. In der App kann man die Poolwassermenge in nur Gallonen angeben. Klar, typische Maßeinheit im metrischen System. 🤦‍♂️ Ich werde die App nur für die Firmware Updates benutzen und der Rest läuft ohne. ### 3/5 — Erinnerung nach Reinigung wünschenswert *2026-07-14* Hilfreich wäre es, wenn man eine Erinnerung bekommt, wenn der Roboter die Reinigung nach 3 Stunden oder 2 Stunden abgeschlossen hat, damit man ihn aus dem Wasser nehmen kann. Derzeit gibt‘s nur eine, wenn man ihn eh aus dem Wasser nimmt und den Filter reinigen soll. It doesn’t provide any information about the WiFi status on the skimmer even when connected by Bluetooth. The most frustrating thing is when the bot decides to go to sleep. You’d think you might be able to wake it up with the app. Nope, no such luck. You pretty much have to pull the bot to the side of the pool and press the on button. I guess I might be able to use the remote to drive the bot to the side of the pool, but it’s faster and easier to just hook it and drag it over. ### 3/5 — Application simpliste et bug *2026-07-05* Je viens d’acheter le Beatbot Sora 70 à 1000 euros le robot je m’attendais à une application beaucoup plus développée. Qu’elle ne fonctionne pas lorsque le robot est dans l’eau… soit, mais elle se déconnecte de façon très régulière, la batterie m’indique qu’elle est déchargé alors que le robot est chargé à fond… elle aurait méritée un pilotage du robot à distance afin qu’il intervienne dans des endroit précis et une cartographie de la piscine! ### 3/5 — Sunshelf *2026-07-03, version 2.3.3* In Pro Mode, Sora 70 consistently gets stuck on sunshelf saying it is trapped when it is not. Delays overall cleaning and turns it virtually into floor mode only unless you are prepared to babysit it. During the few times I have used it, it has features that make it, for me, the most well built vacuum in the market. Other vacuums I have used are the WYBOT and Aiper Scuba S1. Every time I would retrieve the Aiper, once I turned it off it would release a load of debris. It would pick up well, but nothing like the Beatbot. It is awesome, and I love the app for the vac. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a solid built pool vacuum. Sent a message through the app, very difficult, not intuitive received a reply a few days later with tracking number but never received the part. Called in, they show no sign of the order or tracking. Over seas call center hard to hear over other callers and communication not ideal. I’m afraid I’m stuck with a 1000 dollar paperweight. No where to order parts. Regretting this purchase unfortunately. When it worked it was very good but it should last more than a few months. Also corrosion on the charging ports even though I wipe it down after use. Not holding out much hope for a fix of either. It recently stopped charging and all the light flash across panel when it’s on the docking station to charge. I find it much lighter than my Polaris 9300 Sport, which I have had for 15 years. I am happy with my New Best Friend (Pool Boy - Sora-30 Beatbot). I truly am waiting for the micron filter to be available to use especially during this spring season. It obsesses over certain areas and completely ignores others. ### 5/5 — As advertised *2026-07-08* After watching several YT videos of various robot skimmers, I decided that I would prefer the iskim ultra but didn’t want to drop $700. So I opted for the iskim instead and have been very pleased by its simplicity and effectiveness. Initially I was dismayed by not having a charger included but as it turns the solar panels are very capable and keep the unit operating all day. And my upstate NY pool is in shade for part of the day. All in all, a very good purchase. See, my pool was built in the 70’s and it’s not the boring types found everywhere, but rather it’s a lagoon pool with an island and a bridge that crosses over an inlet to a waterfall and it’s very magical, and Beatbot is the only robot skimmer that has mastered all of these nuances with grace and do I say so, Fun?? Seriously it seems to enjoy zipping around all these obstacles that cause other pool skimmers to pause, or avoid going under the bridge or around the island without turning around first. Beatbot does because it knows it can and enjoys it!
