Außerdem passt sich die Geschwindigkeit dynamisch an meinen Skill an. Eigentlich perfekt zum Drum lernen. ABER: Die App hat einige Bugs, die das Ganze nutzlos machen. Z.B. hängt sich die Übung oft beim ersten Beat auf und ich muss alles nochmal starten. Manchmal werden MIDI-Signale falsch erkannt und so falsche Oder ungültige Instrumente erkannt. Der Support reagiert leider gar nicht auf Anfragen. That being said, having just gotten my Titan 75, I’ve been trying out different drum lesson apps and Beatlii seems to be the only one having trouble with crosstalk between the kick pedal and crash, and not recognizing when the hi hat pedal is down randomly. I want to love it and subscribe but when every other app seems to recognize my kicks and pedal presses fine, I can’t justify it. I’ll definitely keep an eye on it though and try back in a few months after some updates though because it really is a great app otherwise. ### 4/5 — A *2025-12-25, version 1.8.4* No me deja conectarme con mi batería por bluetooth ### 3/5 — Freedrum 2 Sticks not visible anymore *2025-12-02* I first downloaded this app when it was still under the freedrum brand. Even had the subscription for a while. But there seems to be not much (if any) active development with the same 5 drum kits in the app since forever. We’re happy to help. ### 3/5 — Good but complaint n suggestion *2025-10-04, version 1.8* Overall I like the apps organization, theme, and idea. One complaint though…I wish there was more free stuff. And, my suggestion: Maybe make it possible to play with non electronic drum kits irl? Maybe use the camera to scan the kit or something? Maybe have a sound recognition system so it shows drum sheets for the song and can tell you if you’re playing right on time or not? And then maybe at the end how much accuracy / points you got and your record? Even if it’s not interactive like that, if you just release some sheet music to follow along too, that’d be amazing. For people who pay you could allow them to play additional songs with free people only playing selective songs or lessons? ### 3/5 — Too Tough on us! *2025-08-28, version 1.7.1* I love playing along with my Roland TD17-KV on the Note highway (guitar hero style) and the songs are good. But I’d play a lot more if the app was more encouraging. it’s very strict and won’t let you move on until it’s perfect! Does anyone even get through to the unlocked songs?? i often walk away disheartened because i couldn’t play on longer. Unlike simply piano which is the opposite, super positive, always lets you progress even if you were pretty terrible. (Maybe we need something in the middle?) Also it doesn’t explain how hard to hit it. it’s goes red but i don’t know why. i feel a tutorial on dynamics would be good. SET UP: also it took me weeks to set it up. but i finally figured it out. this is my setup: (forget the usb option) The app connects to your drums via bluetooth. Then, you must have corded headphones plugged into your phone. (you can’t plug headphones into your drums.) Output must be from your phone, not the drumkit. 🌻 ### 3/5 — Glitch *2025-04-19, version 1.7* Please to be able to add symbols For example vad 307 can’t take some of the symbol sounds and please change to be able to turn off n app sound. I only want one which is the sound from my kit. And sometime it do not work on c1/c2 because it have two sound and there’s a lot of glitches. Got lifetime membership on offer so great value for the money. So much potential. I love the learn/teaching style, but the buggy reading of the input makes the app unusable. (Spoiler alert: IT DID!!). This app is so HELPFUL. Though you do have to pay for more songs to learn and you cannot search up your favorite song to play. The note highway is an excellent method to start playing songs. It just gets you playing as it feels like a game. Keep up the good work! … Adding a drum rudiments section would be nice… ### 5/5 — Top Tier Drumming App - Highly Effective *2026-01-16, version 1.8.4* Tried Drumeo, it was the catalyst for getting into drumming.., but the price and overwhelming content slowed my progress. ^I LOVE the amount of content, it’s just too much because I want to dive into it all and that’s counterproductive for me, personally. Now, I came upon Beatlii hearing another drumming mention it. I gave it a shot and was VERY happy with the entire experience. From plugging in my e-kit to the first lessons and extremely helpful guidance via professionally written descriptions, it was a blast. Like Christmas morning, I could sense I was getting somewhere. Then I jumped ahead, having learned Enter The Sandman, and was both excited and humbled. I was reminded why I was there. To learn to play the drums, for real. The practices and freedom to repeat sections or control tempo, not to mention the full variety of genres accessible right away. Presenting the songs in difficulty stages while keeping true to teaching the fundamentals and theories was “chef’s kiss”. Great gamification and visual cues to learn the drums! ### 5/5 — Quality learning and skills app for beginner drummers *2025-09-18, version 1.8* I started out with the Freedrum2 sticks and the app. And while that setup was a bit buggy but mostly consistent, it gave me a good early grasp as a beginning drummer. After picking up an e-kit I kept up with Beatlii and it’s been a great way to develop musical skills I’d always hoped I could. Enjoying the progressions, and will often go back to previous songs to catch up on old beats.
