This was by far the best daw/drum pad/sampler for iPhone or iPad. BeatMaker 2 was far more intuitive then BeatMaker 3. I used BM2 for years on my iPhone until BM3. Bm3 just didn’t have the same feel. The UI was so much more friendly in BM2. Please updated BM2 or at least fix the Bluetooth. Thx you.

It’s a fantastically robust sample playback tool if you want to use your iOS device as a hardware sample playback device. The effects/processing is atrocious, don’t expect to do any of that in BM2. As a sequencer for realtime recording w quantization, its about as good as any DAW. Pro feature is easy PCM (wav/aif) stem export! And easy import of giant wav/aif sample libraries via FTP! Quick assigning samples to MIDI notes. If you’ve got an external midi controller with pads, you can faithfully use BM2 to use it to do sample playback with velocity, pitch, etc. There’s a filter too and its not awful but I wouldn’t use it. BM3 is the wonderful upgrade fixing BM2’s pitfalls but unfortunately its iPad-only, no iPhone. I still use bm2 on iPhone to be able to play my custom sample library anywhere via midi. Not sure what else it’d be good for at this point.

Had some fun with this app over the years and would of bought the newer version but this one has stopped working, so I deleted it and reinstalled it and it worked for about 1 min and crashed then kicked me out and wouldn’t open the app again! , think its to do with them not doing updates because a newer version has come out. Imaschine did the same think with there app , not far consider people have spent money for these apps.

I’ve been using BeatMaker 2 for almost 11 years. I have fl studio, reason and garage band in my arsenal, but my favorite is and will always be BeatMaker 2 mainly because of the ease and speed of creating. I don’t know if intua has any plans for BeatMaker but I hope your working on something new that also makes mobile beat making easy and convenient.

I’ve used all BM versions since day one, and even after all these years, decades actually (!!), I always come back to the OG of mobile beatmaking. Runs like a Kalashnikov, survives every OS update, still the most fun and intuitive way to chop samples.

Man.. this thing deserves a monument 🔥 Hope Intua keeps it alive.

I use this all the time. I know there’s a beat maker 3. But the BM2 is the ideal one for me to make music on.

The way you can easily sample and also create music, effortlessly. Makes it one of the best music making apps out there at anytime.  

This is the first time I’ve done a review on this platform and for an app for that matter. I’m giving this app 5 stars because it’s very well deserved. Use at home, on the move or abroad. Great work machine to create your musical ideals 👏🏾👏🏽👏🏿

Every time I go to open the app it shows the loading page then instantly crashes and I’m back to my Home Screen. Looks like this been a problem for a minute I would of thought yall would of addressed this issue the 1st time yall started reading you’re customers problems but it’s unfortunately not happening. 
Please fix this issue so we can all do our thang with no issues
