### 5/5 — So cool

This app is a lot of fun and really helps practicing beatmatching by ear!!! I did not try yet but is it possible to have each deck on one side of earphones?

### 5/5 — Much love

*2025-12-23*

The App is really simple but I love that. No trash, just pure beatmatching! Would love some more tracks. Keep it simple and stupid! Much love from berlin

**Developer response:** This made me laugh! Thanks for the support, I'll add some more tracks 👍

### 5/5 — Great Potential

*2025-12-23, version 1.0*

Really struggles to load a lot of the time but when it does work it’s fantastic. Simple and fun and good ear training :))

### 5/5 — honestly goated

*2025-12-22, version 1.0*

wonderful free program and so simple its beautiful. randomly streams a verity of club tracks so you can jump right in, with the option to upload your own tracks to practice w selections of your own choice/style. obviously practicing on a real deck is ideal, but this is a fantastic ear training tool for those without access or even just while away from home. future update i suggest mini platters in landscape view so one can scrub thru tracks and practice cueing. would also be cool to include the option of selecting alternate styles like dubstep and breakbeats. otherwise 10/10 bigup to the developer

### 5/5 — Truly brilliant

*2025-12-19, version 1.0*

Cue points often don’t work first try; app frequently crashes when loading; app often gets stuck in practice mode and doesn’t allow you to check your score; tracks are limited and quickly become repetitive. However! This app is still truly brilliant — looking fwd to improved versions in the future!

### 5/5 — Best App on My Phone - Educational, Functional and FUN!!!!

*2025-12-15, version 1.0*

it doesn’t matter whether you’re a seasoned turntablist sitting on crates of rare vinyl, a newly DJ-curious music lover who’s still just trying to wrap your head around the core concepts of playing tunes together, or somewhere along the journey in between - this is the app for you! it does absolutely everything you may need to start honing your skills, training your ears and finding some funky new tracks to blend.

i’m blown away with how simple, effective and approachable it is. you can hand the phone over to anyone and they’ll figure it out pretty much instantly. easy enough to explain to a complete beginner by saying “its like wordle for DJing!” and off they go, cueing and nudging away in search of the tempo that feels right, that makes things lock in and groove.

as a vinyl DJ with an obnoxiously long wordle streak going, it feels like a perfect mix (pun intended) of my niche interests. not to mention, a good old fashioned global leaderboard to keep things exciting! the practice mode is amazing, being able to shuffle tracks together at random and see how close you can get by relying on your ears alone really makes you listen deeply. the performance mode, with its BPM analysis, timestretching and ability to play tracks off of a rekordbox formatted USB is the cherry on top. seriously, it’s so good i can’t believe we’ve had to endure for this long without an app like this. calling it a CDJ killer would be an overstatement, but i do plan on challenging my friends to go b2b using nothing but our phones.

it’s interface is charmingly minimal, harkening back to an early-internet era of stumbling across a browser based gem you didn’t know existed; maybe didn’t think was possible TO exist… but now you can’t live without, which is the best feeling! no frills, just all the raw power and utility of having two Technics (and a great bag of records, might i add) inside your phone. sure, it can be a tiny bit buggy in it’s current state, but i simply can’t be bothered because every time i use the app i’m having fun for free99.

would it be cool to have some fancy MIDI-over-bluetooth integration, practice mode that allows the shuffling of your own tracks, or multiple channels and wide tempo ranges in performance mode? absolutely! for now i’m just grateful that this exists and know i’ll get to watch it evolve over time.
you can feel the passion that went into the project and for that i thank the devs!

but really, why are you even still reading this? just download the app already! maybe you’ll catch up to me on the leaderboards ;)

### 5/5 — Simple & efficace ! 👌❤️

*2025-12-15*

Pour tout ceux qui n’utilisent QUE la touche Sync ➡️ c’est l’application parfaite !

**Developer response:** Thanks for your support I agree, it's a good skill to practice!

### 2/5 — Bandcamp Doesn't Work

*2026-06-08, version 1.0*

Tried to add my bandcamp profile but it doesn't let me. Instead, a black screen pops up which overlays onto the app. Decent app for beatmatch practice nonetheless.

### 2/5 — Bugs

*2025-12-13*

Crashes, audio glitches, performance mode not playing audio, when switching from challenge to performance-challenge audio keeps playing, interface design questionable, r/l audio split should be an option, no native iOS technology’s -just a web app that doesn’t work properly, no obvious way to leave feedback and bug reports. Nothing pro about this. but it’s free so thanks and keep improving✌️

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. The bug where audio continues when switching has been fixed. If you have any specific feedback or feature requests please DM me on instagram (linked on the app main menu).

### 3/5 — Updating itself into oblivion

*2026-08-22, version 1.0*

Love the app, love the concept, loved the experience when I downloaded it a couple months ago. Now it’s limited to 5 mixes a day, with no potential to upgrade, the genres filters feel useless, the faders do not feel accurate anymore. And this app genuinely feels significantly worse than when I downloaded it. Please fix it.

### 3/5 — Since the update so annoying…

*2026-07-27, version 1.0*

Why have the songs gotten so short since the update? This app came heaven sent for someone like me who wants to learn how to beatmatch by ear… ever since the update, I constantly have to reload the songs because there seems to be an autoplay function that is not possible to turn off, in connection with songs only playing maximum of a minute… this is highly annoying and taking the fun out of using the app.

### 3/5 — Really cool

*2026-05-25*

But Practice mode doesnt work 😔

### 5/5 — Really well executed idea

*2026-07-13, version 1.0*

I really enjoy this app. I know the point is to do the daily challenge but I’ve been enjoying practice beat matching for 15-20 mins a day while I commute, though it seems like we get a limited number of practices now which is a bummer.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2026-07-05, version 1.0*

Can’t wait to get better and better at this skill, lots of fun using the app

### 5/5 — Back to basics

*2026-06-18, version 1.0*

A great tool, not only for beginners/students, but old timers like me, that have let the eyes, make the ears lazy.

For those of us that have gone digital, a back to the beginning, a return to the roots, so keep the focus on the fundamentals.

If you could find some stripped back beats for practice, that’s how I used to teach and find simple kick, snare, high hat, trains the ear faster than complex tracks.

Could do a key match challenge, but even that was not as much a critical requirement, as it is now.

### 5/5 — App review.

*2026-06-17, version 1.0*

This app is excellent.

### 5/5 — Exactly what I’ve been looking for!!

*2026-06-15, version 1.0*

I have been trying to learn to beatmatch by ear for almost a year and it wasn’t till I saw a video of someone using this app and actually explaining WHY they are making certain choices did it all click for me. I could cry tears of joy lol. Would love to see more hardcore tracks and the option for a +- 10 BPM range

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simplicity is key

*2026-06-09, version 1.0*

A fun, simple cute lil DJ app that does exactly what it says. Some really cool tunes to discover and add to your own collection on here too!
Having the performance mode is also genius, would be cool to have a mode where you can load 2 of your own files and beat match them… still 10/10.

### 5/5 — Super awesome app!

*2026-06-07, version 1.0*

Very cool idea, well executed and great tool to improve DJing

### 5/5 — Génial

*2026-06-05*

Voilà comment remplacer le scroll par un vrai skill utile. C’est génial.

### 5/5 — Best app ever

*2026-05-30*

Really good app

### 5/5 — I love it!
