## What is BeatMotion?

Turn photos, video clips, logos and music into videos that move with the beat.

BeatMotion analyzes rhythm, energy and musical transitions directly on your device, then creates:
• beat-synced photo and video montages
• short logo and social intros
• formats for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and landscape video
• animated text, pulses, flashes, zooms, glitches and visualizers

Choose a style, duration and format. Preview the result, fine-tune your project and export when it feels right.

Built-in BeatMotion sounds are cleared for commercial use under CC0/Public Domain terms. When you use your own music, you remain responsible for the necessary synchronization and publishing rights.

No account. No cloud upload. Your media stays on your device.

The free version includes exports with a BeatMotion watermark. BeatMotion Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks 1080p export, every look and watermark-free videos.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-10-10

More creative possibilities for your videos:

• Beat Mono switches between color and black and white to the rhythm of your music—also available for free.
• Sketch Echo turns your photos into drawings on musical accents.
• Combine styles and image filters, and keep up to three favorite filters ready for quick access.
• Surprise Me automatically chooses a song, style, image filter, and editing rhythm.
• BeatMotion Pro creates five different surprise videos in one run.
• New export options: 30 fps by default and extra-smooth 60 fps for Pro.
• Optimized export processing with unchanged resolution and image quality.
• On iPhone Duo, the preview and controls adapt automatically when you unfold or rotate your device.

Your existing projects are preserved. Analysis and exporting remain entirely on your device.

### 1.4 — 2026-10-01

Two new seasonal styles for your videos:

• Snowglow turns photos and clips into winter memories with warm reds, golden light and large snowflakes. This style is free.
• Halloween: Possessed transforms the entire image with a high-contrast orange-and-black treatment, warped image strips, ghost echoes and brief negative flashes. This style is included with BeatMotion Pro.
• Distinct title treatments give both seasonal styles their own unmistakable character.
• Both styles respond to music and edits in the live preview and final export.

All analysis and exporting remain entirely on your device.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-28

New in BeatMotion: animated video titles and five additional styles.

• Show a video title throughout the video, for the first four seconds, or for four seconds at both the beginning and end.
• Beat Pop makes titles pulse with detected beats, loudness and strong song accents.
• New title animations: soft fade, slide in, typewriter and glitch pulses.
• Eight title colors, multiple typefaces and an optional subtitle.
• Five new styles: Golden Hour, Paper Pop, Prism Shift, Noir Pulse and Liquid Light. Golden Hour is also available in the free version.
• Project names and visible video titles can now be set independently.

All analysis and exporting remains entirely on your device.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-20

BeatMotion is now even more in sync.

• Enhanced music analysis on iOS 27 detects beats, song sections, dynamics, and instruments directly on your device.
• More expressive visualizers: bass, drums, and vocals now create distinctly different reactions.
• Arrange photos and video clips in any order using drag and drop.
• Active exports can continue when you switch to another app.
• Repeated analysis of the same song starts faster.
• Fixes for rotated video clips, frozen previews, and interrupted background exports.

iOS 26 remains fully supported with improved on-device beat detection.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-18

New for iOS 27: BeatMotion now uses Apple Music Understanding to detect beats, bars, song structure, pace, perceptual loudness, and instrument activity right on your device. Cuts adapt to calm and energetic passages, while pulses and visualizers react much more precisely to the music. Local beat detection remains available on iOS 26. Free and watermarked exports now finish with a BeatMotion App Store card; watermark-free Pro exports stay clean.
