Generell: Ich finde die Möglichkeit, den Beatport-Katalog per App zu durchsuchen bzw. zu streamen erstmal sehr gut und nützlich. Aber mir fehlen leider ein paar wichtige und nützliche Dinge:

Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, die Musik per Apple Air-Play zu übertragen. In Zeiten von Spotify/Tidal & Co. leider nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Die App könnte einen großen Sprung machen, wenn Titelvorschläge anhand der Nutzerpräferenzen erstellt werden würden. Auch hier gilt: in Zeiten von Spotify/Tidal & Co. leider nicht mehr zeitgemäß.

Crashs & Bugs, Login-Probleme: die App läuft mittlerweile stabiler als damals, aber man muss trotzdem immer wieder mit Crashs, Bugs, Abstürzen und erneuten Logins rechnen.

Fazit: die App hat wirklich Potenzial. Wenn ihr die oben genannten Punkte erfüllen könnt, hättet ihr definitiv einen neuen Abonnenten gewonnen.

App is fine if a little sluggish. Saving tracks or albums is iffy. sometimes it’s unresponsive and will wave the same thing multiple times or not at all.

Beatport ist für mich die beste Methode, um an neue Tracks in guter Qualität zu gelangen. Regelmäßig veröffentlichte Playlisten meiner Lieblings-Genres mit den neusten Tracks und vieles mehr zu stöbern. Ihr macht echt vieles richtig, z.B die Funktion mit den Waveforms mit der man schnell durch die wichtigsten Elemente des Tracks tippen kann. Bug-Info: Die Waveforms erscheinen manchmal nicht. Passiert aber eher selten. Insgesamt ist die App bisher sehr gelungen, anbei allerdings noch bisschen Kritik:

Key Features die meiner Ansicht noch fehlen:
-Track-Warteschlangen-Funktion
-Networken mit anderen, man findet bisher nur Profile von Produzenten und deren Playlists, nicht von anderen Nutzern
-Alphanumerische Key in der Listenansicht statt nur in der Track-Detailansicht
-Der Track-ID Finder stoppt Musik anderer Apps. Das macht die Funktion sinnlos wenn man die Musik ja auf dem Handy hört und den Track herausfinden will.

Was auch noch toll wäre:
-Track-Vorschläge am Ende der Liste auf Basis der Tracks die schon in der Playlist sind (Meiner Meinung nach die beste Funktion die Spotify bietet, passende Tracks finden geht nicht leichter) 
-Eigene Thumbnails für Playlisten

Je voulais transférer depuis Spotify, mais quand je veux ajouter une track à une playlist, il n’y a pas de recherche possible parmi mes centaines de playlist donc introuvable et ingérable à moins de n’avoir que quelques playlists, ce n’est même pas en ordre alphabétique, même problème de recherche si je veux écouter une playlist en particulier je ne peux pas rechercher la playlist par son nom, pour 10$ par mois et un service qui prétend faire du streaming c’est inadmissible et rend inutilisable l’application dès qu’on a beaucoup de playlists différentes

J’essaye depuis plus d’une heure de me connecter au site avec un compte déjà créé depuis plus de 3 ans. Malgré mes changement de mots de passes répétés, et mes attentes, le site me demande continuellement d’attendre 5 min avant de réessayer de me connecter. J’attends depuis plus de deux heures et toujours impossible de me connecter.

No way to remove tracks from playlist.  Shuffle doesn’t work - just plays one track and then stops.  Can’t play or see what’s in your shopping cart.  Really should be a much better experience for listening & shopping.

Can’t login on app but can login fine on desktop. I’ve changed my password 10 times and am always able to log in on desktop, but the app always locks me out and asks me to reset my password. Obnoxious.

Has decent music but is awful at streaming even though I pay 15.99 a month... The website is just as bad, it has to be the buggiest thing ive ever used. I have to pray for my streaming to work when im out on the app and its disgustingly slow.

I spend a lot of money at Beatport, but this app is a nightmare, as so many others have already mentioned. It logs you out randomly for no reason, or plays four songs and just stops, leaving your playlists completely unloadable. Developers, a year ago you stated that stability improvements were in the pipeline. Where are they? I have seen zero improvements in that timeframe. When a platform has more 1-star reviews than 5-star reviews, that should he enough to flip a switch and either fix the problems or scrap it and start over. Which, ironically, is exactly what DJ’s are forced to do every time this app lets us down.

What’s the point in paying $16/month when the app can’t even function properly at the most basic level? Won’t stay logged in every 2-3 times I open the app I have to re-log in, and I’m lucky if it even decides to work at all. Most of the time when I get logged out the app glitches out so hard it will not let me log back in I get a never ending spinning wheel of waiting as if I have no internet when I have a strong connection and every other app is working perfectly fine. Finally had enough and deleted my account with hundreds of songs and playlists which is a huge pain but I legitimately cannot stand when an app or service that you pay for is genuinely useless because it’s so broken. There’s many better song pools for DJ’s you can pick any one of them, Beatport is bottom of the barrel.

I have a professional subscription and I can’t stream on it. Deleted it, redownloaded, there are no updates, it was playing and then it stopped. I can play music on the browser. There’s zero help online and this is making me switch to a different service because it just ruined my night.

Where do I start? You get logged out at random intervals. 
If you want to shuffle more than one page of your playlist you have to continuously scroll down and load the list of tracks so the queuing system recognises their existence.
Often when opening, your playlist tab fails to even load forcing you to shut down and restart the app at least once.
Insanely poor and impractical app.

Man I don’t want to give a 1 star but i have to.. for MANY reasons, but i’ll keep it simple for this review.. how in the world is there not a queue function for mobile on IOS? Like seriously a queue is THE MOST BASIC function of any modern music player.. the funny thing is you can queue on desktop but not mobile. Make it make sense. Also for top 100 there is no suffle function? Like what? And why do I get logged out randomly for seemingly no reason whatsoever? These problems would surely take a developer mere moments to fix yet here we are. Please for the love of god show any sense of care for your customers and maybe i’ll consider writing something less scathing…

ich liebe bearport aber die app ist sehr schlecht. man muss nach 5min pause wieder liste anwählen und dir stelle suchen, an der man eben war. manchmal sogar neu anmelden. beim scrollen kommt man ständig an die waveform und skippt versehentlich. neue songs in listen zu verschieben kostet einen viele klicks von kleinen bereichen. nervt leider

One would expect that you can listen to your purchased tracks on the app and create playlists etc. But no, in order to listen to your tracks on the app, you need another streaming subscription.
Thank god I moved on to Bandcamp years ago. This one is for the trash bin.

What’s the point of your “Shazam” offering if every time you open the Beatport app to try and identify a song, it shuts down the music you’re trying to have the app listen to?
Also, why can’t we add tracks to our cart on the app? Also, why is there no cart? Finding music is the most time consuming thing in the world for dj’s. The ability to listen to tracks while doing the dishes and being able to add a track to my cart IN THE APP is critical. Why should this be a desktop only feature? I’m not trying to buy tracks on my phone, just put them in my cart. 
AND WHY THE HELL DOES THIS THING KEEP MAKING ME LOG BACK IN‽
These things are app 101 issues. Get it together, Beatport.

Buggy and half-baked. Bare minimum app. Constant ‘requires internet connection’ pop-up and the app refuse to load anything. App does not work. I pay for the top tier. Typical of a company with a captive audience.

Beatport ist mit Abstand die schlechteste von allen Websiten die es zum Muik runterladen gibt. Hängt ist übertrieben BenutzerUNfreundlich und lehnt gerne mal Zahlungen ab was es einem unmöglich macht Tracks zu kaufen :)
Bitte bitte an alle Künstler ladet eure Tracks wo anders hoch es macht mich wahnsinnig

This is such a great resource. Getting all this music for a monthly subscription is amazing. Great for discovery of new and old tunes. Build sets with ease. If you need to download them to play out then youd need to do that unless you take a laptop with you to gigs (which is not ideal and youd need solid wifi-unless you subscribe to the premium package). 

Some additions for devs. 
1. Track release date on track. 
2. If you add a track to a playlist it should indicate this by the track somewhere. Im using mobile-may do on desktop. 
3. Option to purchase full playlist or selection for download. 
4. Date filter on tracks. I play warm ups usually so id rather play older tunes. 

Other than that. Amazing. Love it.

Bekommt ihr Schwachköpfe das irgendwann nochmal hin, dass man sich nicht zehn mal die Woche neu einloggen muss? Und welcher Oberschwachkopf ist auf die Idee gekommen die Tracks zu wechseln, wenn man über den Bildschirm wischt?!

I love Beatport—I will always, but the app is a massive headache. I hope they resolve the problem. The problem I’ve had is that it shuts off, freezes, and at times, doesn’t keep up with track descriptions on my car. Five stars anyways. Sometimes I’ve listen to 100s of
tracks through a label and I want to pause for a moment, than the app gives an error and I have to restart and start all over again through all the tracks to begin where I was 😅 It’s amazing, but a painful and time consuming experience (the error). Again, five stars but yeah, I hope that they fix that. It’s been happening forever now.

Not sure why the bad reviews? Works pretty slick for me. I think you have to pay for some kind of subscription on Beatport for it to work because I couldn’t get it to log in on a free account. Handy making up playlists on the go and having them available in your DJ software ready to go.

I like beatport a lot. I’m not using the app to DJ. But going to use it to discover which songs of each genre I’d like to use in my sets. Eventually, I’ll probably end up owning all of my own music but beatport allows entry level dj’s to get mixing with songs at the same bpm in the top100 of any genre right away! Which is actually quite valuable. I wouldn’t look at the mobile app for a primary music streaming service. The other review (only other one) just seemed like the guy didn’t know what beatport is meant for and thought it was like, tidal or something. This is mainly a software used in tandem with rekordbox. Not a streaming service but I am going to leverage the app for future songs and set ideas!

After the last big update I believe Beatport has potential to be the superior streaming app with a few tweaks to their new user interface. Comparing two of the same songs on Spotify, SoundCloud, etc... the music does the talking
