## What is BeatWatch app?

BeatWatch keeps your crew together at festivals, concerts and nights out.

Build a crew with the friends you came with, see where they are in the crowd, check in with a tap, and get your crew to you fast when you need them.

YOUR CREW
Create a crew and invite your friends with a code. Everyone shares their location and status with the crew while you are out, and only with the crew.

FRIEND COMPASS
Lost your friends in the crowd? The Friend Compass points you toward each member of your crew and shows how far away they are.

CHECK IN AND SOS
One tap on the home screen tells your crew how you are: I'm Good, Not Feeling Well or Need Help. Need Help alerts your whole crew with your location, and a long press sends an SOS so everyone knows to come find you. SOS goes to your crew. It does not contact emergency services. In an emergency, call 911 or find the nearest medic.

HEART RATE WITH APPLE WATCH
Share your live heart rate from Apple Watch with your crew, and see when two hearts fall into sync on the dance floor. BeatWatch is not a medical device and does not monitor your health.

CREW CHAT
Message your whole crew in one thread, with quick replies for when it is too loud to type.

RAVATARS
Pick an animated Ravatar to go to the festival with you, give it a name, and dress it up from the Shop. Or build your own Ravatar with Beat Tokens.

BEATWATCH MAPS
Explore the festival map, find places, and take photos at them to earn Beat Tokens and climb the leaderboard. Photo windows open when the festival does.

BEAT TOKENS
Spin the free daily deck for Beat Tokens, earn more on BeatWatch Maps, or buy token packs in the app. Use them for Ravatar builds, Shop items, stickers and dances.

BEATWATCH VIP
BeatWatch VIP is an optional subscription that unlocks extra features such as partner heart sync. It is an auto renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, with a free trial week on the monthly plan for eligible new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. It renews automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it any time in your App Store account settings. SOS, crew chat, solo heart rate and the basic Ravatars stay free.

BeatWatch is for adults 18 and over.

### 5/5 — Ravatars + SOS function

*2026-10-07*

Festival life is a vibe, but it’s also chaotic. I love this app bc it centralizes all the information, you can call for help if you need it and you can find each other with the map even if sell reception is bad. Conversations with my friends stay in the app and disappear after. The avatars are super cool. I love that they dance and you can customize them.

### 5/5 — A Must-Have for any Festival Goer

*2026-10-01*

For the longest time, I’ve been saying that there needs to be a better way to keep track of my friends while at a big music festival and also a way to track my health and hydration to make sure we are all safe! This app finally does this. Plus it also has cool, fun features to make attending the festival fun. I get to add an extra virtual sidequest through my Ravatar as well to make sure he’s enjoying the experience as well unlocking other features and Easter eggs at the festival.

### 5/5 — This makes festivals so much more fun!

*2026-09-22*

BeatWatch is such a cool idea. I love the Ravatars and being able to create something that actually represents your personality and festival style. It adds a whole new social element to the experience while also making it easier to stay connected with your crew. It feels like it was built specifically for festival people.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.3 — 2026-10-21

What's new in 1.3.3

Rav Care: your Ravatar can now remind you to drink water, eat and rest at a festival, with a meter and a Done button for each. Turn it on in Settings, Your Ravatar, Rav Care. You can link Apple Health to celebrate your steps and your Move goal.

BeatWatch Maps: your Ravatar is now drawn from behind and walks or runs with your speed. The photo consent screen is clearer.

Forms: Return moves to the next box, and Backspace in an empty box goes back.

Plus smaller fixes.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-10-19

What's new in 1.3.2

Your tokens and VIP are now on the home screen. A small pill at the top shows your purchased and earned Beat Tokens and whether you have VIP. Tap the tokens to open the token store, or tap the VIP part to open BeatWatch VIP.

New accounts now start on Create account, with a short look at what BeatWatch does. We no longer ask for a display name at sign up: once you join, the Ravatar picker asks what your crew should call you.

When a new account picks its first Ravatar, it may see a short look at BeatWatch VIP. Every screen has Not now. SOS, messaging, solo heart rate and basic Ravatars stay free.

The daily spin now shows the lowest token pack price from the App Store once your result is in.

Maps: the game map now turns when you turn, even when you are standing still. A built Ravatar on the map is drawn as a round picture with no dark box behind it. Before a festival opens its photo window, the camera stays closed and a line tells you when photos open.

Plus smaller fixes and groundwork for upcoming releases.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-10-17

Play the BeatWatch Maps game: pick a place at your festival, follow the arrow, and earn Tokens for a verified photo. As you walk, the map turns with you, with an N marker, upright place icons and a line to the place you picked. Build your own Ravatar from a few questions or a selfie, and watch it learn to dance.
