Unfortunate that there is no rating less than one star. There is so much more to this beautiful island than resorts, spas, yoga retreats, shopping, and night clubs. Sites and publications like this are responsible for the changes here into the same homogenized cookie cutter trendy tourist destination hotspot. Those items listed above? They can be found in most major cities around the globe. So why leave home? Why travel here to spend all your time by the pool at your posh hotel or to be whisked around from store to store by your English-speaking driver? You can ignore nature, history, and culture from the familiar comfort of your neighbourhood Starbucks.
