## What is Beauty Stuff?

Beauty Stuff remembers what is in your make-up bag and when it is time to throw it out.

Add a product — the name, the brand, the date you opened it — and the app works out how long it has left. Everything that is running out gathers in “Needs attention”, and a reminder arrives in advance — a day, a month or half a year ahead, whichever you choose; each product can have up to three of its own.

WHAT IT DOES FOR FREE

• Expiry dates: from the package and after opening — the app takes whichever comes first
• “Needs attention” — everything about to expire, in one place
• A home screen widget: three sizes, tap a line to open the product
• Reminders at the time you pick
• Product photos
• A price on a product and a “Statistics” screen: how much you have spent, the split by category and brand, and “Year in review” — a card you can share as a picture
• Shelf: your make-up bag as covers instead of rows. The photos make a collage — a grid, a shelf or a scatter, with the background cut out
• Ingredients: type them in or paste them from the maker’s site
• Categories and over a thousand brands in the catalog
• Favorites and archive: put a product out of sight instead of deleting it
• A reason when you archive: expired, used up or didn’t suit — that is how the statistics knows how much went to waste
• A shopping list — add to it from a product page, or share a name from any app
• A backup in a single file: save it anywhere, restore it when you need it

All of that works offline, costs nothing, and stays free. Only what the app could not do before is paid for.

SUBSCRIPTION

“The whole app” — $3.99 a month or $24.99 a year:
• The date straight off the package: point the camera and the app reads the expiry date and the “period after opening” symbol itself
• Skincare routines: morning and evening as an order of use, with a warning when two actives don’t get along
• Collage templates: canvas formats, backdrops, captions, smart placement and three more looks
• Syncing between your devices

“All of that — plus AI” — $6.99 a month or $39.99 a year:
• A product added from a photo of the package: name, brand, size and date
• Ingredients read from a photo of the label
• Advice on your own collection: what is duplicated, what is missing, what is about to expire
Requests to the model have a limit — a generous one, but not endless; what is left is shown in the app.

A week free on any plan. The subscription renews itself until you cancel it: cancel in your Apple ID settings at least a day before the paid period ends. Payment is charged by the App Store when you confirm the purchase. Prices are for the United States — in your country they differ, and the purchase screen shows the exact amount.

There are no ads, and there will not be any.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.3.4 — 2026-10-31

Small improvements under the hood.

If Beauty Stuff helps you keep track of your cosmetics, a rating in the App Store helps others find it. Thank you!

### 1.3.3 — 2026-10-05

New in Filters: “Opening”.

• Show only opened products, or only those not opened yet, to see what's in stock
• The choice is remembered along with the sort order, and a filled filter icon shows when the list is narrowed

Thanks for the idea — it came from your reviews.

### 1.3.2 — 2026-09-24

Reminders can now be set for each product.

• Up to three reminders per product: six months, three months or a month ahead — or your own period in days, weeks or months. A big jar of cream is worth starting early; a mascara only needs a week's notice
• The period in Settings stays the default for everything else
• The notification shows how much time is left and until which date

Thanks for the idea — it came from a review.

### 1.3.1 — 2026-09-14

A small update right after launch.

• “Rate the app” in Settings now takes you straight to the review page on the App Store
• The app may ask for a rating on its own — only once it has earned it, and never more than a few times a year

Everything else is as it was — and still free.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-11

Your collection now lives on two phones at once, and the date is read straight off the package.

• Syncing between your devices: sign in with Apple, and the collection and its photos arrive on their own. The account can be deleted from inside the app, together with everything that went to the cloud
• The expiry date from a photo of the package: the app finds the date and the “period after opening” symbol
• Skincare routines: morning and evening as an order of use — with a warning when two actives don’t get along
• Collage templates: canvas formats, backdrops, captions and smart placement
• A product added from a photo of the package, ingredients read from the label, and advice on your collection — in the second plan

Everything the app could do before stayed free: products, photos, reminders, statistics, the shopping list, backups and the widget.
