They said I have to wait till it comes and I return the items!!! They’re stuff is so expensive that’s unacceptable to me!!! Especially when it was not my fault, it said the order failed so I ordered again and it said successful! I am really upset with this company right now! I may have to find different products… that’s absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. ### 5/5 — Body bliss *2022-08-19, version 3.17.3* How I love all of the products I’ve tried this year - the lavender underarm deodorant is the ONLY deodorant I’m able to tolerate - there is something in all of the others over the counter which brings out boils under my arms. For the first time in my life my fine, full head of hair doesn’t tangle and is soft and silky. I never realized how all these other hair products contain such damaging, drying ingredients. The rosacea in my face has calmed down with the change to these beautiful, gentle, nourishing products. I reached out again and order some products after getting recommendations from her, Patrice has been involved in skin products for years, and now I’m hooked! Love the products! ### 5/5 — Shipping charges *2022-02-28, version 3.16.6* First, thank you for the special on the yearly membership. It was greatly appreciated and I wanted to jump on it. I really like your products, and recommend them, and give 5 stars, but I was upset that I was being charged shipping to renew the membership because there was a free gift enclosed, which basically negated the savings. So I added a product I am close to needing a refill for, but was still charged shipping, because the membership did not count toward the total. So I ordered a product from the Counterman because it is being discontinued., finally reaching the amount needed to cover shipping. So for $6.95 I almost said forget it all together. I understand you need to cover costs, but maybe consider lowering the shipping costs to a lower minimum, or run specials that reduce or eliminate shipping. It is the little things that make us happy. Consistent use of the Countertime regimen has fully removed 5 of 7 of my dry patches. Vitamin C Boost fades my age spots quickly. Finally skin care I can trust that’s a lot cheaper than seeing a Dermatologist. Thank you BC. Keep up the good work. Melting Body Balm is the only thing that keeps my body skin moist for more than 24 hours. I like how easy it is to order. BC was my Christmas gift. ### 5/5 — Good, clean, beautiful! *2021-12-21, version 3.16.4* Loving BC products!! Started with a lip gloss, then moved to face and hair care. Slowly replacing makeup and other products and happy with every purchase thus far. My ultimate fave: lip conditioners. I keep one at my bedside and one at my vanity. Apply before bed and after tooth brushing. My lips are soft and supple. Other products I hardly notice as they don’t feel oily, clumpy or otherwise heavy. My face is much happier and clear, as is my hair (the daily shampoo and conditioner are also in my top faves!) Highly recommend. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Frustrating website issues *2023-11-03* I contacted customer service today because the Beauty counter website shows I have no subscriptions and I have no order history. It took a very long time to get any answers. The person told me to start a new account, which is impossible unless I want to use a different email, which I don’t. I got into my account and made some orders. One of the things I ordered I have on a subscription. I was afraid to start a new subscription with items that I am already subscribed to, so I didn’t get the discount. The person I had the chat with, through customer service, didn’t answer all of my questions and ended our conversation before doing so. I know she was frustrated with the website issues. So am I. I hope these issues are resolved quickly. ### 2/5 — The App is Difficult to Navigate *2024-02-21* I love BeautyCounter Products. However, every time I go to the app to shop and make an order its extremely difficult to go through the ordering process. I recognize that Im an older woman(73) and not technologically proficient, but the difficulty will sometimes end up with me NOT SHOPPING. For example: I want a product and somehow I end up with two of them in my bag. Im not sure why this happens, but its very frustrating. in order to make the order I did today, I had to Log Out and Log Back in 4 times. I hope the Beautycounter Tech Personnel will find a way to make this app User Friendly for All their Customers. ### 2/5 — Check Out/Payment/Discount Poorly Designed *2023-11-19* I have complained about this before, but the layout on the app for an iPhone with check out is very poorly designed. You should be able to see a separation between the discounts being offered on the site and whether or not your beauty counter points have been applied. I clicked on to use my points, and or the amount checked all the way out and they were not used correctly. You also cannot press on discount to see what discounts are being applied in case you have some thing else you want to use. It is not user-friendly. ### 3/5 — Disappointed Beautycounter *2023-11-17* I have been with Beautycounter since 2018. I’m restocking a lot of my products & buying new gifts for the season. I went to the app & it had me update it. I put all my things in the cart. When I chose Klarna to purchase there was a major bad glitch & it made me sign back in. Then It wouldn’t let me. I got out of it & opened it back up & went to my cart. Somehow there was 4 & 8 & such of each item added to my cart and was over $1000. This happened 3 times. I decided not to purchase. Well let’s see it wouldn’t let me. I love my Beautycounter products but Beautycounter what is going on with the app? This is the first time this has ever happened! ### 3/5 — So pricey *2022-09-22, version 3.17.4* I absolutely LOVE Beauty Counter, but their prices are just too high! I’ve had to scale way back bcuz of their price point, which is disappointing, as I have been using the complete set for almost 3 years. :( Also, so many other beauty companies offer free shipping on their orders, or shipping is free after you spend $50. I love the simple colors of black and the descriptions. However I tried to chat with a consultant and I could never find the chat box on the app. I even tried on the website and the chat box was no where to be found in the low right hand corner. I wish I could have talked to someone but just decided to order instead of email them. ### 3/5 — Dashboard good, shop screen is weird *2020-05-28, version 2.31.0* I was able to do what I wanted: make an order. Payment was easy. But, overall design is not user friendly. It took me a few minutes to figure out what to do on Dashboard and Shop. Notifications are not actionable so I wasn’t sure how to use them. Shop screen is busy: lots of rows, icons and options. I got lost trying to find what I needed. ### 3/5 — Needs more organization *2020-05-20, version 2.31.0* Still not easy to find things. Have to search all over to find specific things I need and I’m looking for. My team dashboard and personal BV, QV, PV is not always up to date... for weeks!! I just think if Beautycounter is going to have an App after 7 years you should be able to do, find, and have all things updated at this juncture. When will tech support be available via the app? Ie. Messenger ### 3/5 — Glitchy *2020-05-13, version 2.30.0* This app is glitchy and often shuts down when I’m trying to load a new page or tool. I’ve also noticed many times that (both on the website and the app) when I go to order something, the thumbnail picture displayed doesn’t match the product. For instance, I was recently ordering samples of Countertime Supreme Cream and it kept displaying a photo of the Counterstart Cococream Cleanser. It would also be really helpful if merchandise had descriptions that were specific to the materials, sizing, care instructions, etc. I’ve had to return a lot of merchandise because there were no descriptions and when I received them in the mail they didn’t fit or the object was so small that I couldn’t even read the BC logo. And some merchandise is even missing photos . ### 5/5 — Confident and Happy *2024-02-29* Thank you to my BeautyCounter representative's (Amy Lukacs) help with use of beauty products and knowledge of their purity of ingredients, and the ability to really listen to my concerns, my skin looks and feels so much more healthy and in tune with the results I was trying to achieve. Most important, Amy is always available to help through text message and photos. I am sure to keep up with my beauty regimen so that when I am in public I am never caught by surprise when friends or past students appear. I am ready, confident and happy to see everyone and I feel that I am looking my very best. Love them and highly recommend them for anti aging clean products. They are a bit pricey but last a long time because I can use less and get more clean and moisture into my facial skin! I will try the body care products at Christmas and order several as gifts, too!! Please try this line! You will appreciate the results and save time to look your best! I’m turning 60 this fall and get compliments daily in how nice my skin looks! She’s so good at recommending products. She started me on the daily face routine for my dry skin and it has taken years off my face. It feels so nice and clean. I love it!
