### 5/5 — Rules

*2024-11-18, version 1.1.1*

Kind of the perfect quick capture program for Obsidian and the like. And (partially) free!
Love it.

### 5/5 — Great app by a super friendly and responsive developer.

*2024-09-27*

The app is simple to use in the way that all well thought out things are. You choose a folder and it creates a plain text document in that folder automatically. I've been using it to create notes in my Obsidian vault without having to open Obsidian. It works perfectly. I emailed the developer about adding the ability to change the font size and within three months he had added the feature. He was courteous, open to suggestions, and made me feel like a contributor rather than just a customer. He was a delight to correspond with and actually emailed me to let me know my request had been implemented and thanked me for making the suggestion! Customer service is not dead! The free version is very useful. The Pro version gives you many more options for creating your notes and is well worth the money.

### 5/5 — Quick Obsidian Capture

Best app of this kind that I have tried. Deserves to be better known ❤️

### 5/5 — Fleeting Notes on Steroids

*2024-08-15, version 1.0.5*

Very occasionally, and do mean occasionally, a notetaking app turns up on the scene that adds so much value to my life, I’d be remiss to not leave a review. Bebop is it. Just open it up, write your fleeting note and hit save. Then it disappears from visibilty and you can get on with your life. All files are stored locally and in the cloud. Super minimal and clean UX/interface. Whenever I need to jot something down, Bebop is always open, ready and waiting. With so many crappy PKM apps out there all promising you the sky. Bebop just does what its meant to. Super fast jotting down of fleeting notes. Thanks to the developer and big hugs!

### 5/5 — Works great

*2024-07-09*

Great, lightweight app that perfectly does the job I need it to do. I use it to capture notes and webpage links into an Obsidian folder that i use as an inbox, like a ‘read it later’ app. Bebop does it quickly and easily without a subscription hassle.

### 5/5 — Great for quick notes

*2024-07-06, version 1.0.2*

I use Obsidian for my notes, but sometimes I just want to quickly create a note without a lot of fuss. Bebop fills that need. I created a folder called Bebop in my Obsidian vault folder and can now create a note without thinking about what to name it or where to save it.

### 5/5 — Great for quick capture

*2024-06-23, version 1.0.2*

Glorious new app and really good in conjunction with Obsidian. It makes quick capture a breeze on mobile. Can’t wait to see what new features are implemented in the future!

### 5/5 — Simple

*2024-05-20, version 1.0.1*

Fantastically simple

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2024-05-20, version 1.0.1*

I love this kind of simple, thoughtfully designed, single-focus, ad-free app. Really makes using your phone delightful. It’s similar to Boomerang by Thomas Kientz (which you can also find here on the App Store) but without cluttering up your email inbox with every random thought.

### 5/5 — An app that does its job perfectly

*2024-05-14, version 1.0.1*

This is great for jotting down quick notes. I’m not looking to tag or organize anything, but rather get down a thought before I lose it.

I have the .md files save to a Quick Notes folder in my Obsidian Vault where I can later manage them on my computer.

### 3/5 — Pro version

*2024-05-14, version 1.0.1*

I don’t see the value of the pro version having just paid for it. This is also an exact replica of the iOS native Notes application. I’d love to learn what is new or improved upon vs notes but I just don’t see it. Perhaps if you are an Obsidian user for Second Brain functionality, then is see the markdown export / syncing being of value but for a notion user I don’t see it

### 4/5 — Kinda perfect for Obsidian

*2024-07-10, version 1.0.4*

Obsidian takes forever to load up, and needs a way to capture things quickly. This does the job. But hotdog does it work terribly on the iPad. Just a tiny lil app in the center of the screen. This looks like it's using all native UI - I don't understand why it's like this.

### 5/5 — The perfect amount of interface and interaction.

*2026-06-05, version 1.2.2*

Does exactly what you want as a quick notes app. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Perfectly minimal.

### 5/5 — It's does exactly what it aims to perfectly

*2026-05-07, version 1.2.2*

Simple and elegant. Just enough flexibility to fit around what your use case and simple enough where it just does what it needs to. The control panel/Lock Screen button is game changing.

Bought the upgrade to support a dev who makes some quality software. Big thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app to do quick entry for Obsidian

*2025-11-30, version 1.1.2*

Well worth the one time purchase to get additional features to enhance Obsidian integration.

Highly recommended for quick note capture

### 5/5 — Comodissima per Obsidian

*2025-04-12, version 1.1.2*

Con un prezzo giusto e le funzioni che servono per prendere note veloci da caricare in Obsidian

### 5/5 — The App I Have Been Searching For

*2025-02-15, version 1.1.2*

I have been looking for an app with Bebop's functionality for about a decade. All I wanted was a quick capture app that points to a directory of my choice and then I could control the naming of the file and have a template when the new file was created. 11/10, this is AWESOME.

### 5/5 — Fantastic for interstitial journaling

*2025-02-14, version 1.1.2*

I use Bebop Pro to add new entries to a daily Markdown file for interstitial journaling. It is absolutely wonderful for firing off a quick note wherever I’m at. Upgrading to Pro was a no-brainer.

### 5/5 — Fantastic app to be quick-capture to Obsidian

*2024-12-30, version 1.1.2*

I use this app to quickly capture URLs, quotes, notes, etc. into my Obsidian “Daily Note” and it is great! It opens quickly to let me jot down thoughts. Or I can use its Share Sheet to easily record stuff. Great work!

### 5/5 — The best quick capture out there!

*2024-12-08, version 1.1.2*

This app is so good! It's super focused and well made - a rarity in today's app landscape. It's the perfect Obsidian companion for anybody who wants a quick capture tool. Check it out!
