Bluetooth does not stay connected no matter where I position the clock in my house. Other settings don’t stay fixed and need constant readjustment - brightness, alarm level, alarm sound, etc. Other features such as white noise and music just don’t work well with Bluetooth not working, so never really utilized them. ### 2/5 — Spotify *2021-04-07, version 4.1.15* Using Spotify on BEDDI 99% of the time doesn’t work and when it does it sends the alarm to my phone instead of the device ### 3/5 — Bluetooth is Buggy *2021-03-27, version 4.1.15* No longer plays my playlist for the alarm. It defaults to the beeping alarm. The light comes on 15m before the time I set. Now the app is frozen and will not connect to the clock. So I have to stay in the room to turn off the alarm instead of being able to turn off the alarm from another room if I wake up before it goes off. If I had a power failure this alarm clock will be basically unusable since I cannot access the app anymore. None of the features work unless the app works. And the app never works unless you are willing to delete app, restart phone and reinstall app on a DAILY BASIS. I’m not sure why the company isn’t providing better support when just about everyone reviewing says the same thing. UPDATED Review: App was fixed shortly after I wrote the above review. Unfortunately the most recent update has made my alarm unusuable because I you cannot turn off the alarm. I deleted the app- alarm still went off. So I’ve had to unplug the clock. It’s really frustrating that the app is so unreliable especially because you cannot use the features without the app!!!! ### 1/5 — Inconsistent and buggy! *2020-11-17, version 4.1.15* The app is not reliable and the clock seems to lose Bluetooth connection all the time, freezing the time on the clock. Often wake up in the night and see 3:00 on the clock only to check my phone to see it’s 5:00 - not helpful! EDIT: Tried submitting a ticket on their website and every time you click Submit, the form errors out. Say goodbye to sleeping in on vacation. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — BEDDI Alarm Clock For nationally Unusable *2025-07-14, version 4.1.15* We’ve had our BEDDI alarm clock for about 9 years. It used to work well and we loved it. Both the sound options and light options were much better than other alarms we’ve tried. We had occasional issues with Bluetooth connectivity. We had to reset the alarm by unplugging and plugging it in again. Then an update solved that issue. Now, once again we have Bluetooth connectivity issues; only more severe now. Now we need to both reset the device and turn the connected phone off then on again. Even that doesn’t work as much as half the time. It’s very disappointing to have lost the use of this once good device. Might you have another firm-ware update in the works?!? I hope so. As is I wish I could rate the product as is ZERO STARS … but I have to do 1 star to have the review completed. Please put an update out that will solve this. Our opinion would change if we can use it reliably once again. ### 1/5 — Buggy app with no support *2023-12-28, version 4.1.15* While this starts off as a decent app for controlling Witti devices, it hasn’t been updated in three years, the developer doesn’t respond to support requests, and the app gets buggier with each iOS update. It’s not like the company isn’t around any more, they continue to release new priducts. They just ignore the older ones as they do. ### 1/5 — Class Action Lawsuit *2021-06-01, version 4.1.15* I NEVER do reviews. But after purchasing 2 of these devices and facing multiple issues that have not been fixed, then I think we need to take action. Due to the multiple complaints the app has been getting and the developer have refused to correct the problems, we now must give an ultimatum; either you fix the issues (there are multiple, and because the device, for the most part does not work without the app) or we file a class action suit to return your product and be reimbursed. At least I will enquire from the Dept of Consumer Affairs for any legal redress to this issue. Enough is enough!!! ### 1/5 — Not happy *2021-05-10, version 4.1.15* This app has worked intermittently since I got the device at Xmas. Seemed to rectify the original issues of not connecting despite Bluetooth being on so I let the other little niggles slide but for the last few days now I’ve not been able to connect my spotify account through the app so can’t set my music to wake me up. If I open Spotify & play thru device it will play my music using it as a speaker but it won’t login in thru the app. I’ve even deleted the app to see if that would work but no joy. Very disappointed. ### 1/5 — Too many problems *2021-02-20, version 4.1.15* I tried using the beddi on and off for over two years. Sometimes it worked, other times it didn’t. Finally, it made the decision for me when it stopped connecting to my phone. I bought a Hatch Restore and it is everything I hoped the beddi would be. A little finicky setting up, but 20 minutes playing around with it has given me the last 3 nights of amazing sleep. Look into it if you’re tired of settling for Witti’s mediocre product and service. Nice design and easy options used for years now. 5 Stars ### 5/5 — Update: Got my phone to connect to the alarm feature. *2018-06-27* Update: I went to regular settings and turned on Bluetooth, then still went to my quick control center and clicked the Bluetooth on and off and my phone finally found my BEDDI Product. Changed rating from 3 Stars to 5. ———— I can Bluetooth connect to the speaker feature, but I can no longer set the time or alarms because when I open the app, it never finds my device. Hopefully it’s a small mess-up that can be fixed because I really do love the product. ### 5/5 — Impressed *2018-06-17* I just got the BEDDI Style yesterday, and I am very impressed with this product! It has very nice speakers, customizable buttons and everything. I would recommend this to others. The only complaint about this is that the app in some areas can be a bit confusing to me, for example setting up the Bluetooth alarm. It just wouldn’t connect at first and here and there. I got the alarm clock that has the led at the bottom. The sound that this alarm clock makes gives me anxiety but it gets me and so it’s all good! They just updated it (FINALLY) I got so tired of the green. Finally a nice blue to make it look more professional. Its alarm is pretty loud and works. No issues with crashing, features work as advertised. Couple of suggestions: - Love to be able to access my Philip Hue light scenes via HomeKit to program to a button (ie the Arctic Aurora, Savanna Sunset, etc) instead of just picking a colour. - Ability to import Alarms from the Apple Clock app (if this is even possible) - Native iPhone 6 or 6 Plus app resolution (doesn't look native but I could be wrong) - A timer for the LED mood light on the bottom if you fall asleep.
