Android devices can use the most modern BedJet app to control our V2s, including the customizable auto shutoff timer option. I recently switched to an iPhone and the only app that works with our V2s is the old one that looks literally like the remote, and it appears that the app has not been updated in 7 years? It’s also slower to connect to the BedJet even when I am in the same room with it. Instead I sleep w the remote and wake up to adjust the temp, which kind of defeats the purpose of the bedjet. Outside of waking up to adjust the temp a great work around I have found is to hide my feet inside a pillow shoved at the bottom of my bed or wrap them in the covers and sleep w the cool on all night. I even deleted and reinstalled the app to see if it would malfunction and it didn’t malfunction. The BedJet is beyond its time. I love this thing. Having hot air blow at your feet during winter time is epic. I get chills just thinking about it. We have V2 and have used it for about 5 or 6 years now I think. We mainly use turbo as we go to bed and maybe once in the morning if one of us gets out of bed first they'll turn on turbo for the other. Happens 90% of the time. And the shame is that the app control options are better than the actual remote control that comes with the unit. If this app was fixed, I would wholeheartedly recommend the Bedjet to everyone. UPDATE : I followed the advice from Bedjet's response to my original post and sent my Bedjet back to them. They made it super easy to return and paid for the shipping. I received a new Bedjet quickly,and it pairs perfectly with my app. I now wholeheartedly recommend Bedjet. It makes my bed so comfortable. If you're having issues connecting to the app like I did, just email them. **Developer response:** BedJet engineers have identified a known Bluetooth bug relating to Apple’s release of iOS 11.4 in May of 2018. With the release of this iOS update, a small percentage (we estimate 3% to 5%) of our iOS BedJet App users have been experiencing intermittent instability in the Bluetooth connection. This may result in the App experiencing random disconnects or an inability to reconnect. The bug is characterized by an initial good connection that may last up to several days, followed by an inability to re-connect without power cycling the BedJet. After power cycling the BedJet, the Bluetooth connection is restored but is subject to repeat of the problem. This bug does not affect Android users, only Apple users who have updated to iOS 11.4 or greater. We do not believe we are the only device maker who’s Bluetooth stability has been affected by Apple’s iOS 11.4 update. For the 3 years prior to the release of iOS 11.4 in May 2018, the BedJet App has had reliable Bluetooth connectivity with iOS devices. It has taken our engineers a number of months to isolate and identify the bug and come up with a software patch that would eliminate the Bluetooth instability. As of 8/10/18, we have fully solved the issue. At this time the software patch can only be performed by BedJet personnel, as it requires flashing of the Bluetooth module EEPROM itself and not the main BedJet CPU. Please accept our deep apologies for the period in which this bug went uncorrected, it was very pesky to solve. We know how frustrating it can be to have Bluetooth not working reliably. Thankfully we’ve got the fix. For any of the small percentage of iOS users experiencing Bluetooth issues, you are 100% covered under warranty and we will be happy to replace your BedJet unit with a brand new unit that has been upgraded with the software patch at absolutely no cost to you. You know what? I love my BedJet and the app is pretty solid if you asked me, “don’t freak out about all the reviews it’s from people who think every company is as big as apple or Amazon and can throw money at every new update.” At the end of the day it’s quite simple, you go to bed, you program your fan and move on to the next thing.
