### 4/5 — ER RES

*2017-03-09*

Great easy to read and for the most part, very up to date. There are some changes, and my one request would be to have an "update" option to get the newest information as it becomes available. Overall, great app!

### 5/5 — Physician Assistant

*2015-10-23, version 6.0*

This app has a surprisingly large amount of information. It is well organized, user-friendly, and references are cited throughout. I have tried multiple emergency medicine apps and this is by far the most helpful and exhaustive.

### 4/5 — Essential

*2015-04-29, version 5.6*

Great app to have for any ED provider - docs, PAs, residents. Easy to use and can quickly look up the salient points on most ED topics. Even better with the recent update. I use this usually at least once per shift.

### 5/5 — Great Tool

*2014-11-07, version 5.2*

Easy to use. Great useful information quick. Makes a difference at the bedside.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Misleading App Privacy Label

*2026-03-02*

The app privacy label does not at all reflect your privacy policy. Needs update.

### 1/5 — Lost notes and bookmarks since update.

*2024-04-14*

I used to love this app, and frequently referenced it on shift. However, ever since the update, I have lost all of my bookmarks and notes that I have written. Some of the categories I simply cannot find anymore since it was re-organized.
Mostly, it is very upsetting to have lost my personalized clinical notes that I have accumulated over the past 2 1/2 years.

### 1/5 — The new upgrade is lacking

*2024-03-16*

I have been using this app since I was a resident and it was amazing. The new upgrade is trash. Missing the dental portion. I don’t like the new structure.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. It is always difficult to make everyone happy, but hopefully the new layout will make more sense in time as more features are added. The dental/ENT section is back on the main home screen. If you have any further suggestions please email me at expeditiondocs@gmail.com

### 1/5 — Needs A LOT more info

*2017-05-05*

So I bought this app because I needed a good toxicology application. It is good don't take me wrong, it's just incomplete ...
What good is an app if I constantly need to use other apps because the developer did not bother to add enough info?
Comparing to similar apps in other regions this is worth 1 dollar and I'm being generous!
It is good if you have money to waste and live in the 90s when the medical knowledge was still limited.
Unless you add a lot more info this review will remain 1 star.

### 1/5 — Review

*2014-10-13, version 5.2*

Absolute waste of money

### 1/5 — Weak app.

*2012-12-19, version 3.31*

i want my money back plz..how can i get it back
thanks

### 2/5 — Amateurish

*2013-02-07, version 4.0*

Despite the updates, this app still leaves much to be desired. Its limited content barely scratches the surface of common pathology seen in the ED and its overall design is not user friendly (not to mention the feces colored background). You have to know exactly what section information is located in and then you have to view the entire section to hunt for the one isolated piece of data you were looking for. It is a good attempt, but I would look elsewhere for a solid professional reference.

### 2/5 — Not a physician tool

*2012-11-28, version 3.3*

Pretty basic - good for an EMT or student doc/nurse.

### 2/5 — ERres

*2012-11-17, version 3.3*

Very basic info. Not lots of help

### 2/5 — Not impressed

*2011-08-09, version 2.04*

I found this app to be lacking in content...or should I say it has an odd assortment of content. In the emergency setting you need rapid access to pertinent information. Spend a little money and get a critical care pocket guide (available for your iOS device). It might sound nit picky, but the content needs to stay oriented in the same direction, not bouncing from portrait to landscape.

### 5/5 — Rebranding technical issue

*2025-09-29*

With the change from EMres to EM Bedside i did temporarily lose my access, I emailed developer and they promptly sent me an access code. It sounds like there is some issues with the apple platform out of developers control

### 5/5 — GREAT APP!! FULL OF GREAT STUFF!

*2025-04-22*

The fact that this app mentions, AND EXPLAINS GASTRIC LAVAGE IS ENOUGH, for me to know I can trust this app! You’re getting GREAT info here! This app has improved SUBSTSNTIALLY, since I used it in 2014!
VERY VERY GOOD!

### 5/5 — Back in the game

*2021-08-08*

Excellent app is back in business now with more Bundt cakian wonderfulness!

### 5/5 — Outstanding update!

*2021-03-31*

Great evolution of this app! Can't wait to start using it again. I can now recommend it to my colleagues not just residents. Keep it updated. It's one of the most useful bedside EM apps and I rarely use apps on the job anymore.

### 5/5 — Get it

*2018-09-03*

I have been using this for years, heard about it at one of the ACEP conferences. I typically use the decision rules which I feel that alone is worth the app let alone all the other bells and whistles which are great. My entire group uses it

### 5/5 — Great resource!

*2017-02-25*

This app is a wonderful resource! I love it and I use it every time I work!

### 5/5 — High Yield

*2016-11-30*

Awesome app - easy to use and navigate

### 5/5 — Wow!

*2016-10-16*

I've had this app for a while but just now went through it thoroughly. I'm very impressed! I love it and will never work a shift in the ED without it.

### 5/5 — OUTSTANDING quick reference

*2016-09-11*

Working in the ED requires rapid response and decision making. This app is a tremendous resource, easy to use, and thus far found to be very helpful. Bravo Zulu to the developers.

RES PA-C

### 5/5 — A must have!
