## What is Bee Here With Me?

Bee Here With Me offers gentle, practical guidance for connecting with someone living with memory loss.

Visits can sometimes feel intimidating. You may wonder what to say, how to respond when something unexpected happens, or whether you are doing enough. Bee Here With Me helps take away some of that pressure with simple conversation starters, activities, music ideas, quiet ways to connect, and supportive responses for difficult moments.

Choose how the visit is going, explore ideas from the Visit Garden, or select “I need help right now” for guidance with situations such as:

• They don’t know who I am
• They want to go home
• They’re repeating themselves
• They’re upset with me
• They’re asking for someone who isn’t there
• They’re saying something that isn’t true
• They’re not talking
• They asked something I don’t know how to answer
• I just don’t know what to say  

The app focuses on calm, respectful communication. It encourages you to follow the person’s feelings, avoid unnecessary correction or arguments, and remember that connection does not require perfect memory.

Bee Here With Me is private by design. It does not require an account or profile, and you do not need to enter names, diagnoses, medical histories, photographs, or family information. Each visit begins fresh.

Every person living with dementia is different. Something comforting to one person may not work for another. Follow their cues, respect their preferences, and ask their caregiver or healthcare professional when you are unsure.
