I just wanted to ask the developers to make provision for me to add my concessionary aged related travel pass to my iPhone. I could then use my iPhone on contactless transactions on the bus or train if my card was lossed or damaged. ### 3/5 — Very Good but needs data *2026-08-12, version 1.10.0* The bee Network app is very good because it can help you find different ways of transport around you, however I don’t like the fact that you need data to be able to use the app properly so if you run out of data or if the service is bad then you can’t find your way. I think they could develop the app better. Would be more ideal if you could search for a bus number or bus-stop. ### 3/5 — Tracking no longer working. *2026-06-08, version 1.9.2* I have had this app since the Bee Network was launched and have come to rely on the tracking feature which is usually reliable. However, since updating to iOS 26.5 the tracking is no longer available on my bus routes (472/474). The feature is available on other routes but not on mine which is super annoying as I like to ensure the bus is on its way before leaving the house. Disappointed to say the least but will happily amend my review once fixed. ### 1/5 — awful app *2026-04-10, version 1.6.7* Gives the most inconvenient routes, doesn’t give all possible routes, makes up a tram that doesn’t exist? inconsistent and annoying. 2.5 hour journeys which should be 1 hour. ### 2/5 — Unreliable live tram times *2026-03-23, version 1.6.3* I use the app mainly to see when the tram is due but recently it’s not been working properly and is consistently a few minutes out. When I contacted metrolink they said to use the website instead because that’s more reliable. Functionality shouldn’t be in the app if it’s not reliable! Even worse the app will glitch and not let you even open the app even after restarting the phone delete and re downloading the app and even trying different Wi-Fi . I purchased a weekend ticket at 1am on a Monday morning thinking it would be valid for the following weekend which it wasn’t and was valid until 3:59am on the same Monday . It was my mistake but when I contacted the company they wouldn’t help at all when they could have . Who what’s to buy a weekend ticket at 1am on a Monday for 3 hours valid . Be warned as it’s only in the small print . I think it’s a scam myself ### 1/5 — Sonion 😭 *2026-04-26, version 1.6.7* What is ts. Its been an enjoyable experience since the Bee network took over. However, being in the older age bracket I don’t like the harsh breaking of the buses especially when you are getting off the bus and carrying two full shopping bags. Also drivers should be reminded that they should allow people to sit down before driving off and not to leave too much of a gap between the kerb and the bus floor to enable an easy exit for the elderly and disabled. I would also like to mention about the bus stop in Didsbury Village outside the Halifax Building Society where on several occasions drivers of cars seem to think it is okay to park in the marked bus stop area while they ‘pop’ to the shops. This means if two buses arrive at the same time one of them is unable to stop and pick up passengers. I’m not sure if it is an offence to park at a bus stop but perhaps a sign indicating that this is not permitted would be useful to lessen the anxiety of bus users at this stop. Otherwise, well done Bee Network. ### 5/5 — Handy and Reliable *2026-04-10, version 1.6.6* Unfortunately, it hasn’t fully support latest iPhone/iOS. I am not able to use the live tracking since I have changed to iPhone 17 (iOS 26.4). Waiting for the app update patch. ### 5/5 — Traveller *2026-04-06, version 1.6.6* Being able to track the buses location is a massive help whilst planing a journey ### 5/5 — really handy! i do have suggestions *2026-03-09, version 1.6.3* this app got me using the bus, which gets me out and about - really helpful :) it’s flexible and gives multiple options for what bus you can take. you don’t even have to commit to one. it keeps all of the options ready, so you’ll be looking at the one you’re currently thinking of taking, but you can just go have a look at others whenever, back and forth. very handy when you miss one or it gets delayed! in the “plan” section, when you click “options”, i think it’s quite ambiguous what that means (it means transport options, as in are you considering bus or tram or cycling etc). and the panel that it brings up, i was confused trying to close it - turns out if you scroll down a bit, there’s a “done” button just out of sight (i was swiping and looking for an “x”) while you’re following a journey instructions, it would be nice if it displayed the bus number you’re currently waiting for on your phone’s lockscreen (so you don’t have to unlock the phone & get it onto the right app to check). i’ll often be turning my phone on to check the bus number a few times while i’m waiting, as i’ll forget or partially forget/not be sure any more if i’ve remembered it correctly, especially if there’s similar ones (eg 255 vs 256) likewise, it would be nice if it displayed the name of the stop you’re waiting to get off at on your lockscreen lastly, if you accidentally swipe the app away mid journey, please could it remember your journey? replanning it is awkward, especially when you’re already on the bus sorry if these things already exist and i’ve just missed them! --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
