I like the ease of use, the ability to customize the days. if i can figure out how to have all the notifications come thru consistantly, id give it 5 stars. **Developer response:** Hey MickeyG27, Sorry for the inconvenience, there was a bug in a previous version that may be affecting your events. Could you try going to the Bee Ready settings and tap “Reset Notifications”, this should reset all the notifications that may have been saved incorrectly. I bought full version, so my kids could use for bell schedule. Not helping at all. ### 5/5 — The alerts have saved us so many times 🙂 *2020-09-04* At first, I thought I wouldn't need this app because we have a shared school calendar with reminders. However, I wanted any edge I could get to stay on top of our new distance learning routine. Well, on the first day, we completely missed the calendar reminders, but the Bee Ready app alerts saved us. This happened a few more times during the week! So thankful we downloaded the app! ### 5/5 — A Day-to-Day Lifesaver *2020-09-03* It’s hard to keep a full-time job and manage my son’s busy new 3rd grade schedule. This tool gave me a way to guarantee he’s no longer late for Zooms and school activities when I’m stuck in the middle of my own meetings. I’m even using it to program chores and snacks and other reminders to help him become more independent. ### 5/5 — Just what I needed *2020-09-03* I got this for my 5th grader, who is now responsible for being at his computer for set times each day. So far, it is working exactly as I had hoped. I wrote to the company with a question yesterday (a silly one, that I could have solved in ipad settings) and they responded just a few hours later, with news about additional features coming soon. ### 5/5 — Just what I was looking for! *2020-09-03* As a mom with 3 kids (2nd, 4th and 6th grades) virtual learning, this is just the app I was looking for! My middle schooler can now be responsible for his own schedule freeing me up to help the younger 2 manage theirs. The app is simple to navigate and the “get to class” ringtone cracks me up! I highly recommend this app. ### 5/5 — Returned my Sanity *2020-09-02* I was losing my mind trying to keep up with my daughter’s online school schedule. I set iPhone alarms but that layout is so cluttered and hard to follow. I tried a bunch of alarm apps but when I found this it was perfect. Create exactly for what we all need right now. Easy to read, follows along for you, nice to look at, customizable. But what’s the point of getting to choose an icon for each reminder if they don’t even show on the notification? I bought this app so that I could use it for my daughter. She struggles with readying so she was able to associate the icons for each chore or task she needs to complete daily, but when the notification comes up it doesn’t show the icon. Definitely was not worth $3.99, super bummed. ### 1/5 — Not so good *2020-10-20, version 1.0.5* In general, the bells and reminders simply do not function reliably. The only time I can get a reminder is when I set it for 2 minutes in the future and wait. I don’t really need a reminder if I am looking at the clock and can see that it is nearly time for the next class to begin. Please help ### 1/5 — This app does not work *2020-08-25, version 1.0.1* This app does not work! There is no sound to any alert! There is no customer service! I want a refund! ### 2/5 — Alarm ends in few seconds *2022-04-19* This app has been the closest to the alarm/task management app I was looking for (especially the customizable icons etc. for fun), but the duration of the alarm is too short. It automatically ends in a few second. I hope the alarm continues ringing until you stop it. Otherwise, you’d miss is sometimes. I’ll delete this app to save space. I was disappointed because it wasn’t a free app. ### 2/5 — Found Anything Better? *2022-03-24* Has anyone found a calendar/alarm system for young children that works? This one isn’t saving the alarms. And I’m concerned that it says the icons don’t show up. What’s the point of having the icons if they don’t show up with the alarm? I’d prefer the option to add my own photos. I’m leaving town and need my kid to be a bit self-sufficient. ### 2/5 — Unreliable *2021-01-06, version 1.0.5* It’s a great idea, and I was excited to use it. It is unreliable, though, only signaling occasionally to the alarms that I set. I’ve checked the settings multiple times, reset the schedule, and tested the sound, everything I can think of. It still doesn’t operate consistently. ### 2/5 — The concept is great, but works very inconsistently *2020-10-13* I love this app for what it theoretically should do. When it works, it takes a lot off of my shoulders as far as reminding my elementary school kids when their next digital learning class begins. The problem is it works very inconsistently. Sometimes it rings, sometimes it doesn’t. Sorry again for the bug. ### 2/5 — Alarm doesn’t work *2020-09-22* I would give it 5 stars but the alarm doesn’t sound on my phone. I just get the banner notification on my phone which isn’t helpful. I found the app is super easy to set up “class times.” This is particularly helpful for my child who has a lot of transitions throughout the day. Is there a chance your device is muted, or in "Do Not Disturb" mode? Another possibility, is this device connected to an Apple Watch?  We've found out an Apple watch will swallow the alarm and not play on the device. Please make sure you have the latest version of Bee Ready (1.0.5) and check the Settings screen for some extra help. Super helpful and working well on my first week. I like the simple 2 second chime. The notifications appear on my watch which is great. The best part for me is the ability to keep my phone on silent but allow this app to override that and play the notification sounds. Having the gentle reminders at a set time every day is really helping. Some I’m already getting into the habit of doing before the reminder goes off, but others I would have forgotten- it’s making such a difference. Love that it’s a one off payment as well rather than subscription. Actually, I’m an adult and I use this to organize my day, instead of a school bell. It works perfectly. So simple yet very effective, no bs crap unnecessary functions. And the interface is very intuitive. Now I can’t live without it and i find my days a tons more productive and I get things done. Bee Ready is SUPER CUTE, my younger son especially loves the sounds and ACTUALLY GETS ONLINE now.
