No way to try app before purchasing it.

**Developer response:** The app can absolutely be used without making a purchase. Yes, the app would offer you to pay, but it is definitely possible to dismiss the paywall and use the free features. 
We hope you will give it another chance.

Purchased one month ago as adjunct to a circumnavigation, now program crashes immediately after launch. Not very useful with iOS 18.2 or 18.3.  Bad expenditure.

Maybe if they add Google Photos integration I would try it again someday. $20/year for this is tough to justify.

**Developer response:** Unfortunately Google Photos does not let developers access location info from the photos without downloading your whole photo library from the cloud again. We assume this is something most users will not be willing to do. 

When it comes to the price - some do find value in the free version of the app.

App is ok but needs a lot of UX and functional improvements. For example:
1. Launch the App, it doesn't show your location or update the day until you move a few hundred yards giving you the impression it's not working
2. You cannot put down a drop point to say "Here now" for example, and get more of an approximate location that the App decides to record when it feels like it
3. Basic spelling errors "Don't loose your streak" ... loose vs. lose - pretty basic English error.

very interesting but we can't manually add check-ins and there doesnt seem to be any iCloud Backup this made me lose all my data :/
Also the price is so high

It would be great if you could enter your personal history of places been before using the app.

…inconsistent record of movement. Even on the days you open the app there is is no certainty that it will capture your movement. As a result it is not a useful tool for keeping an accurate history of where you have been or even how many days per year you have been in each country.

The fog of war concept is cool, and it is realised really good. But there is no way to edit locations, because if there were navigational issue (e.g. government spoofing gps location of the whole city) and you have pictures with geotags all over the place, even those you never visited, it will be included, which makes the app kinda weird.
So app what to log your location based on your current location or locations attached to pictures in your libraries. I got weird result of several places I’ve never been to. And there was no way to edit it. 
Premium features described very vaguely and unexpected feature of determining your tax residency. 
To sum up: I expected the app where I could pick cells on a map of where I’ve been even before I have the pics in the library, but got app that constantly tracks your movements and not too sure what it wants to be.
