What is the beep test? 
The beep test (also know as the multistage fitness test, bleep test, pacer test and shuttle run test) is a standard fitness test used by professionals to test cardiovascular fitness. The beep test involves running back and forth between two markers at 20m (6.5′ 7.4″) apart at an increasing pace as indicated by audio beeps. Your fitness level will then be calculated based on how long you can keep the pace. An audio beep and visual cue will indicate marker and stage changes. The Beep Test is a standard fitness test used by Sporting Teams (including but not limited to soccer, football, Australian Rules AFL, hockey, rugby, cricket, athletics and tennis). The test is also an entry requirement for Police, Fire and Emergency Response, Army, Air Force and Navy.

It’s not pretty and doesn’t churn out lots of stats but it does the basics. Useful for running the beep test for individuals or a team. USP for me is the ‘training’ option within which you can make it loop to stay on the same stage of the test - good for doing the anaerobic version of the test. Audio is ok. Visuals are a bit basic. You can export results to Excel which is useful.

I use this app for the Jr Rugby Union team I coach. Find it very helpful... The one thing I would like to see is the ability to add people to more than one group/team - I want to be able to have a Whole team setup and then separate Forwards and Backs teams... Apart from this, awesome work guys, oh and I’ve already had a few parents ask for the results to be set via email...

I entered a birthdate and after the test wouldn’t provided results because the subject was under 13 except the date of birth was 1972. I used every year in the 70s to no avail. Changed gender from female to male for 1972 and it worked. If the subjects personal data can’t be used the whole app is useless to me. Timely fix or refund please.

Love the design but there a few bugs. When you try to put in your info it glitches. 

Needs a add a 3beep tempo option. As your running you hear 3 beeps before the final beep where you have to be on the line. This helps the runner know how fast he needs to run.
