It is always sorted alphabetically no matter whether I select “nearby” or “A to Z”. That requires opening a maps app to see nearby breweries, which is less than ideal. ### 3/5 — Would be great for android *2023-05-29, version 3.0.0* Worked great for me on iphone but my wife has a new android and the app was not available for her to download so she got nothing even though i got a shirt and she went to all the breweries with me ### 4/5 — Fun helpful Ap! *2022-05-04, version 3.0.0* Very helpful finding locations I haven’t tried yet. Some “clunky” interaction and random, unexplained crashes when trying to open up the brewery pages. Biggest downside was when I finally got my Brewsader status and the shirt I received was in the wrong size and far too small - no help or customer support buttons in the app to try and address it. ### 2/5 — Frustrated with this app *2019-05-23, version 2.0.0* Love the concept of this app but always seems to never allow me to check in. I am able to put in location and the password but never can it register. I have to be online always to get it to at least register and not every brewery has a guest WiFi to allow me to check in and then it drains my battery because of it. I get frustrated with the app but love the concept. Can’t wait to get my shirt when all done. ### 3/5 — Good concept, but... *2019-04-03, version 2.0.0* I love visiting the breweries and getting my passport stamped, but I’ve had multiple pending stamps for weeks now. Does no one monitor the stamp transfers? I’d use the GPS check in, but it never puts me where I’m actually at and therefore won’t work. Even if I’m on the location’s wifi. This app could be so great if someone actually took the time to monitor and help people trying to reach Brewsader status. ### 3/5 — Stamp transfer's need attention *2018-06-23, version 1.0.1* It's a fun app for engagement with the city and breweries. I wish it had a search feature, maybe something to consider in the next update. Also, It doesn't seem to be monitored for stamp transfer's. I have several pending for several weeks now. ### 2/5 — Login Fails Constantly *2018-05-02, version 1.0.1* I’ve had the app for a few months. Transferred all my existing stamps in with no problem and logged a few breweries via GPS Login. Now, every time I open the app, regardless of the credentials I put it, I get a “User login failed. Try again later” error. I click on “Forgot my password” and it never stops loading. I cannot add any new breweries, nor can I access any kind of account settings. If the log in screen doesn’t appear upon opening the app, I have to delete and reinstall the app to try again. It’s more frustrating to use now, and I can’t get all my stamps in one place. Please fix the bugs so this is actually usable!!! ### 3/5 — Love the idea! *2018-05-01, version 1.0.1* Downloaded this app a few weeks ago, it’s new, I understand but seems to have a few more “kinks” to work out before being great. I have most of the stamps already, uploaded the pics of the stamps and seemed to work ok. I have tried to ch go in to a few other breweries that I did not have stamps too and seem to have issues. I have been waiting for about a week now for one to either be accepted or denied. It would not let me check in with the password so I took a pic of MY mug club glass. Still nothing. But even if the password would work, it won’t let me do anything because it is still “pending”. Please get the kinks worked out so people don’t get a foul taste in their mouth about the app not working. UPDATE: Just was sitting here at a brewery discussing how close we are to getting all of them. Opened the APP and ALL of the 29 that we have previously been too are now gone?!?!? No way I am going to stop by all of them again so I’m crossing my fingers their is a glitch in the APP and it will reload shortly. Now they changed it and you need to “migrate” to the new version every time you open it. Lost half my check ins too! This app is fantastic and really does help you get to know the city. The fact that it’s tied into Experience Grand Rapids also allows you to search events happening in the area. But this app is incredibly easy to use and wonderful. It includes maps, descriptions, and details that made our trip great. It’s been great so far as we’ve hopped around the city’s breweries. The only problem we have had is AT&T’s signal is horrible, which has given us a few issues with checking in. But that’s not the app’s fault, and several times we’ve been able to log in to WiFi, resolving the check in issue.
