## What is Beerlog?

beerlog: the beer diary you keep with your mates.

Log every beer you drink, rate it out of 10, and own your ratings in front of your friends. From the first sip to the group leaderboard, beerlog turns your beer nights into a shared game.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

Log a beer in seconds: name, style, format, rating, a photo, and the bar where you had it.
Rate and comment — then let your friends challenge your taste.
Create or join a group and find out who really knows their beers on the group leaderboard.
Replay your week with the weekly recap: your best find, your biggest flop, and how the ranking moved.
Explore a map of every place you and your friends have had a drink.
Discover a new beer every week, with the option to have it delivered.

MADE FOR FRIENDS
beerlog is built to be used together. Rankings, comments, reactions and a bit of friendly trash talk — everything's better with your crew.

YOUR CALL ON PRIVACY
Keep your profile public, or switch to private so only your groups can see your tastings. No ads, and we never sell your data.

Please drink responsibly.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.11 — 2026-10-05

CAPSULES ARE HERE

Fourteen caps to collect. Some reward your curiosity.
Others reward your bad faith. We don't judge, we keep records.

THE RANKING STORY

Every Monday: who climbed, who sank, who finally made the list.
Spoiler: not always you.

THE RANKING FINALLY TELLS THE TRUTH

Heineken no longer exists in ten copies. Neither do the averages.

FRIENDS IN ONE TAP

A button on every profile, another in the feed.
No excuse left for drinking alone.

ALSO

Friend requests now take you where you can actually answer them, and a
few buttons that sent you back to the feed finally go where they should.

### 1.10 — 2026-10-03

FRIENDS COME TO BEERLOG

Everything used to go through groups. You can now add friends directly,
independently of any group.

- Add someone by sharing your personal link, letting them scan your QR code,
searching their username, or straight from the member list of a group you
  already share.
- Every request is confirmed on both sides: you accept or decline, and you can
remove a friend at any time.
- Your profile shows your friend count and opens your list in one tap.
- You get a notification when someone adds you, and when your own request is
  accepted.

YOUR FRIENDS IN THE FEED

A new "My friends" filter narrows the feed to their tastings. And if your
profile is private, your tastings are now visible to your friends as well as
your group mates.

INVITE FRIENDS TO A GROUP

From a group's Manage tab, pick the friends you want to invite. The invitation
is offered to them inside the app: nobody is added to a group without accepting
first.

HALF-POINT RATINGS

The rating slider now stops on half points. There is a 7.5 between 7 and 8. Your
existing ratings are untouched.

PHOTOS, FULL SCREEN

Tap a tasting's photo to open it full screen. Pinch to zoom, swipe down to
dismiss, and save it to your photo library in a single tap.

A MORE DIRECT PROFILE

Your stats and records come first. Settings are gathered into a sheet behind the
icon at the top of the screen.

FIXES

- Several navigation buttons returned to the feed instead of their destination.
- The feed background now matches the other tabs.

### 1.9 — 2026-09-04

Groups: a real management hub
The "Invite" tab becomes "Manage" and finally brings everything together: invitations, members, settings and sensitive actions, clearly separated. The member list with roles (creator / member) is new, and a group can now have a name and an emoji. Leaving a group is explicit: a screen spells out exactly what will happen, and if the creator leaves, ownership passes automatically to the longest-standing member, so the group lives on. "Join a group" moved where it belongs: to the group switcher.

Invite in one gesture
Share an invite link through the native share sheet: tapping it opens the app straight on the join screen. A full-screen QR code lets you invite face to face, and can be scanned from the app to join a group. The invite code is still there as a fallback.

Discovery of the week: a rethought purchase flow
Everything now fits in a single sheet. The reassuring details — delivery time, payment on delivery, the ability to cancel — appear before you're asked for anything. The address is entered in separate fields, the delivery area is checked instantly, and a confirmation screen recaps your order and the steps ahead.

Smarter beer entry
As you type, beers you have already tasted are flagged in the suggestions, with the rating you gave and when. Purely informative: nothing blocks you, logging a beer again is perfectly normal.

Reactions
A new reaction set, and adding or removing one is now snappier and more reliable.

Stronger privacy
On a private profile, reactions and comments follow exactly the same rule as tastings: only people who share a group with you can see them or take part.

Fixes
The map background displays correctly again. The Feed background now matches the other tabs. The Profile screen has been reorganised: stats, records and history come first, while settings (language, visibility, sign out) move into a dedicated sheet.

### 1.8 — 2026-08-27

Bugs and anomalies correction

### 1.7 — 2026-08-19

Beerlog now speaks English: the app follows your phone's language automatically, and you can switch it anytime in your profile.
New privacy setting: choose a public or private profile.
Discovery of the week: a new beer to try every week, with the option to order it.
Adding a beer is clearer, and email sign-in has been made more reliable.
