Used to be able to up to a few months ago. Now it wants me to pay !!! ### 3/5 — Okay for scoring *2024-10-24* Once I figured out the interface on the watch, it was easy to input the score along with other simple stats 👍 I did find the watch to not update soon enough with the yardage, and when it finally did the accuracy was inconsistent I expected that when I get to my ball after my tee shot that when I glance at my watch (Apple series 9), it would give me the yardage. It would mainly show the yardage from the tee box for way too long, when it did finally update it would sometimes show the wrong yardage (I have a rangefinder) I can’t see buying this just for the scoring **Developer response:** We have added latency and accuracy improvements to the watch’s GPS interface. Hats off! ### 4/5 — Could be the best *2024-04-17* The best interface hands down! I have used them all. With a little research of the competition, they could add a few more game options like verifying skins for example. Definitely worth the dollars but need to add some more options on a few of the games. We play hole by hole skins that need to be validated on the next hole with a par. Also, we have steals which means when someone is trying to validate a skin, if someone else birdies, that person takes control of the skins and needs to validate the next hole My only problem is the way Nassau press display at the end of the game. They also need to allow a press after 9th hole to “press” the back nine (two bets for the 1-9 bet) **Developer response:** Thanks for the review and feedback. You definitely get what you pay for here! ### 3/5 — Changed from ⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not there yet to has promise *2022-08-29, version 3.7* Changing my review from 1⭐️ to 3⭐️s after using BEEZER for 2 weeks in Ireland. I had much higher expectations of it being a social golf game / betting app. BEEZER is leaving a lot of money on the table because you only need 1 person in your group with the subscription….if you don’t set up the game you can’t do anything…no manual pressing, etc. What it essentially does is replace a physical scorecard with a digital card, and manual games to digital. The good: 1) every course we played in Ireland was in the app 2) Apple Watch capable 3) automates scoring of games, yes plural. Based on handicaps which you can set and adjust manually 4) automatically shows how much each player is owed or owes after the round. The opp for improvement: 1) not all hole handicaps matched the scorecards, but most did. (Would be nice to manually edit when it doesn’t) 2) if you want to have a group to group game or multiple games with multiple partners. It’s not there yet. You can view a leaderboard, but can’t manually press your opponent as an example, you have to let the person who set the game up do it. 3) Beezer is leaving money on the table…yes IMHO this is bad. If they had a true social experience they could ensure everyone in the game be a subscriber then they can see all scores, bets, etc real time. Possibly even do a manual press. But as of now it’s a great value as only one person needs to subscribe to run the games. Beezer support said this is to keep “integrity” while scoring….I think having everyone subscribe and being part of the experience improves integrity. My 2¢ 4) some game functionality could use a little more enhancement. For example in a nassau game if you select auto press @ 2 down, it presses the game on that side and the total. Not a big deal but if you want presses only on the front and back sides and not total you have to manually remove the total. Additionally I play with some guys who want to press whenever…no ability to set the press if you are even…. 5) gps, showed hole distances initially from the tees you selected vs where you actually were standing. Also when you press on a bunker to see the distance it does not show you how far from your current location to the bunker it only shows you how far from that bunker to the green… This app has a ton of promise. I hope Beezer continues to enhance, add functionality and build it so everyone in the game can see the game and take action as appropriate. Initial review: This looks like it has promise, but it’s not intuitive. 1) subscribed players cannot jointly see scorecard, 2) text of a game stat comes through but no link to join game. Wanted to have an easy way for 2 groups to have a couple of group games and individual games on side. All subscribed, only person who sets up game has visibility. Please fix these issues so when a game or games is/are created, others are automatically in the game and we have visibility, etc on our device ### 5/5 — Fantastic App *2022-08-13, version 3.5* App is easy and intuitive to use. My only wish is that it marked individual hole scores with the standard circles and squares vs the colors. Womp womp womp. Of course no one in our group has Beezer but I decided to be the pioneer. Until I was limited to adding only 6 players to my group. The games portion works great BUT the course details for the course we played were inaccurate. There were 3 holes where the par for the hole was incorrect, which makes it impossible to record an accurate score. We have corrected the scorecard. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great simple design, flies under the radar in golf apps! *2026-07-24* I've been using this app for roughly 2 years now to track my mediocre golf game, and as I've learned more about the app it's been very useful. The ability to see all statistics of GIR, saves, average score for each par of hole, and more has itched my love for statistics especially within the game of golf. The design of the app is very simple and easy to understand/use, and the GPS tracking is accurate. Two things however that I notice is sometimes the location of where I am on a hole is slow to update every once in a while, not too big of a deal. The other is that I think a more detailed view of yardages to different parts of the green would be useful. I want to use it for my league, but I found that the course recently changed the hole handicaps. Is there a way to update the scorecard to reflect the new ratings? This is by far the best and cleanest easiest to use scorecards. Also gps works great!!! Other apps were wayyyy to complicated this took out all the nonsense and made it great and user friendly! ### 5/5 — This is all you Need *2024-03-24, version 4.8* I’ve been using the Garmin Approach S42 watch for the past year and its verity good, but at a price of $300.00. This APP has done everything the Garmin did plus I get to keep my Apple Watch on my wrist. It’s accurate, easy to read, and provides the data to my iPhone and iPad. Im a still only using the non premium version but after within the next 2 weeks I’ll upgrade to the premium version. The monthly cost is insignificant for the data it provides. Note: Their customer support is excellent. ### 5/5 — First time use - Failed *2024-02-06* Signed up for the two week trial and tried to use it today; started app on phone fine and never could get the watch to sync with phone. Tried multiple times; uninstalled app and reinstalled twice - don’t have the time or the patience to worry with this app - back to GolfLogix app for now. **Developer response:** Apologies for the issue. GPS is very accurate. It would be nice if you could toggle back-and-forth between the map and the score without losing the score input. I would also be nice if there was a total and you were able to put in pots and strokes that would some up into that total. Right now you have to put in the pots and add them to the score. If you are using your watch to keep your score, every time you switch back to check the distance to the pin you have to re-enter your score for that hole.
