## What is Before You Share?

Before You Share checks screenshots and images for the private bits hiding in plain sight.

Pick an image from Photos, Finder on Mac, or the iOS Share Sheet. Before You Share runs an on-device scan for emails, phone numbers, payment cards, IBANs, postal addresses, faces, QR codes, hidden image metadata, and more. Review every finding, ignore false positives, mark any area yourself, then share a clean PNG with selected details hidden and metadata stripped.

• The list of findings now shows the cleaned image, so you can see what was hidden rather than the original details.
