The only way to have access to the app is with a subscription. And it is not transparent about this until you set everything up. That is why I am giving it 2 stars. No refunds either. So it’s a bit misleading they offer a 7 day free trial. Luckily I only signed up for the monthly, but was locked out of the app until my payment cleared. Now the app’s functionality is very interesting. It’s neat that you can take anything and turn it into a podcast style narration. Very engaging and functional. Your mileage may vary though. Great use case for AI. Overpriced. Beware of their business model. ### 1/5 — Nope *2026-07-05, version 4.5.2* Wouldn’t let me try until I committed financially, noped right the _____ out ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2026-06-27, version 4.5.1* it’s supposed to be custom-made to you it does not listen to your feedback it plays the same content over and over it’s horrible to navigate it has so many glitches you can give your feedback it will acknowledge your feedback and yet continue to do the exact opposite of what you’re asking it to do. It’s the worst. Get an audiobook app and just find a book on the topic you want because this is so frustrating to navigate I can’t even put into words not only how useless it is but how frustrating it is. Please do not waste your money on this app ### 4/5 — Good, but very repetitive... *2026-06-26, version 4.5.1* The App is pretty good overall, and a powerful way to learn. What really needs to improve though, is to reduce repetitiveness... I give it some sources and then ask it to create a learning path based on it. It creates modules and lessons of audio Podcasts, but each lesson keeps covering a LOT of the same. I listen to lesson 1, and think "great", then move into lesson 2 and think "hmmmm, you already covered most of this", then move into lesson 3 and get really disappointed that again 85% of it is almost exactly the same as what was covered in lessons 1 and 2... This is of no use, as it is now. Creating a single lesson: great. Creating a learning path: be ready for terrible repetition. Hope this will get solved soon. ### 2/5 — Violates Apple Guidelines *2026-06-24, version 4.5.1* Per Apple's App Review Guideline 5.1.1 (iv), apps are strictly forbidden from attempting to "manipulate, trick, or force people to consent to unnecessary data access” Only provides option to allow app tracking. ### 1/5 — AI generated summaries *2026-06-22, version 4.5.1* Very AI generated summaries of chapters - not the useful and key take away summaries you’d expect. Most of the summaries are unless info with some key information. And no way to get hold of support to het a refund. Do not purchase! ### 3/5 — Love the app, despite the bugs *2026-06-20, version 4.5.1* I love the app. I have learned a ton in just a few short sessions. I would really appreciate having the ability to highlight text without having to drag my finger around until the cursor happens to move to the right position. Also I can’t seem to edit or delete highlights, and when I tap the auto highlight button while listening it’d be great if it grabbed a bit more content before the current spot or if it’d let me edit the highlight afterwards. ### 3/5 — What I don’t like *2026-06-19, version 4.5.1* I don’t like how you have to pay for the app ### 1/5 — One day sucks *2026-06-17, version 4.5.1* I tried the free trial for seven days. I got one day out of it. When I went back to continue my learning, it kept asking me to sign up for the free trial, told me I was in the free trial, and wouldn’t let me continue unless I signed up for the free trial. I have deleted the app. Canceled the subscription. But I got stuck in a never ending cycle of trying to close the ad for the premium plans. So actually not usable in free plan **Developer response:** Hey, sorry about that, getting stuck in a loop trying to dismiss the premium screen is genuinely frustrating. Some features are usable for free without a subscription, so the free plan is real. And there is no way to refill unless you pay. Direkt nach dem Öffnen erscheint ein Premium-Angebot, das sich nicht schließen lässt. Wenn ich auf „No, thanks“ tippe, erscheint dieselbe Werbung sofort wieder. Dadurch komme ich gar nicht erst in die App. Sehr enttäuschend – so ist die App aktuell für mich unbenutzbar. After a long and tedious onboarding process, this app presents you with a pay wall. It excels at both. I can easily capture notes or snippets from the lessons, and interacting with the AI while listening makes the experience much more immersive and helps the information stick.
