But the reviews were great, and I was looking for a new game, so I figured I’d give it a try. This is a short game, but the graphics are gorgeous and the play is fun. It’s a mystery/puzzle game with a really neat twist at the end. My 4 year old could complete this game. No skill needed whatsoever. No puzzles. Basically pick your paint and generally guide it where to go. Oh and make the same breakfast every day and play the same cassette and make the same coffee. Soooo boring. Crashes regularly. Wish I could get my money back on this one! ### 1/5 — Secret Room bug *2021-09-28, version 1.3.2* When you try to get the 3rd final clue. The sunflower painting does not drop the last shape. Please fix it. *Update* Now it offers a new update saying “A new update is available. Would you like to update to the newest version?” When you click the green circle it says “Cannot connect to App Store”. And now the supposed update is gone having fixed nothing *Don’t waste your money* ### 2/5 — Not worth the $ *2022-01-02, version 1.4.2* The game is visually pretty but it has long, slow cut scenes and no replay value. The gameplay itself is very boring. Once you solve it (which only takes a couple hours) there is no point in ever playing again. ### 3/5 — A game with great potential but comes short. *2023-03-25* I like the story and the concept but the games downfall was it being too short to be worth 6 dollars. I had hoped for this to last me much longer than 10-15 minutes. I got another one recently that lasted me 8- 15 hours longer of playtime and it only costed me a little more. I almost quit half way through, but I’m glad I got to see the ending. They need to fix it so it will save across devices. I’m happy I played it. The studio behind this did a great job of interaction and art. It is a bit like a puzzle game like The Room series, but not so dark. I give it four stars because it is quite short and the story progression was a bit confusing to me (it could be a difference in American vs. Taiwanese story style). But I never got stuck and I really enjoyed the way you painted to continue the story. I absolutely recommend if you want a lovely iOS game with a unique gameplay and some simple puzzles. The animation was beautiful as well. Similar to Ghibli. The only thing I can complain about is that it the game is too short and not enough chapters for me.
