Only existing accounts can be accessed, no new ones can be created at this time. Also, the DADO app can’t be connected to used or refurbished units. We suggest returning the brewer to the retailer you purchased from for a full refund. ### 1/5 — The App Makes the Brewer Not Worth Purchasing *2020-08-21* We’ve had our brewer for a couple of years now. It has always had a terrible interface. We can set a time for the coffee to be ready in the morning, but we have to do this every single day. How hard is it to add a check box or something to set up a schedule? Or just a one button repeat-the-precious-brew? We knew this app was terrible when we purchased. The astounding thing is that it hasn’t been updated. It’s the same terrible app as when we bought the machine. It’s sad. The brewer makes good coffee, but if I had known how bad the app was, and that they didn’t care enough to update it even a smidgeon, I would have purchased a different product. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2020-08-11, version 1.4.0* If you are new you can’t create a log in! Says there is an error. So I can’t even make a cup of coffee. Needs to be fixed ASAP. ### 1/5 — Ridiculous *2020-06-03* I echo all the complaints, plus a few. It’s been two years since this app was updated, and it’s riddled with bugs and flaws. Poor UX/UI, hanging on brewing or canceling, sometimes mysterious failures to connect or to brew as scheduled, failure to warn in advance of an empty tank, etc. in addition, the coffee maker itself is a problem. If you forget to put the pot in, instead of not working, like all other makers, it will dump coffee all over your counter, notwithstanding the ostensible safety button on the basket. And I had two failed versions of this thing. Just stopped working. The first two weren’t the connected variety. I keep coming back because of the quality of the brew, and one of the failures happened under warranty, so I sucked it up and bought another. I won’t do it again. You’ll find yourself spending more time troubleshooting than drinking coffee. Took multiple tries and it provided no feedback as to why it failed. Rechecked passwords multiple times and no luck. This is stupid. ### 1/5 — Please… PLEASE update this app or….. *2023-03-20* I get it, you made a mistake and stepped off in to an area your company wasn’t prepared for and the app sucked at launch and the development of it became too difficult. You changed your mind and wanted to focus on hardware. But the promise of your company’s name and reputation are on the line here. I love the hardware but the app, which with a coffee maker with only one button is EVERYTHING, has been abandoned. Suggestion: remove the app and offer all connected model owners a Brazen model that is made to work without the app. Let your customers that supported you when you were new change our minds like you did. Give us a choice! There probably aren’t that many of us out here. An app that blows up defeats the purpose of having an internet connected coffee maker ### 1/5 — I hate to pile on here, but… *2022-04-02* I’ve had the Behmor coffee maker for nearly two years now, and love the coffee it produces. I was so excited today when I saw that my favorite coffee maker had an app! How handy! How useful! But wait…I get an error when I try to create an account. I must’ve done something wrong—after all, I am a non-tech savvy Gen Xer so it must be something I did wrong. I try again, then one more time because I know there has to be user error. It isn’t until I read the reviews (not the app’s description, mind you, but ONLY the reviews by regular folks like you and me) that I learned that accounts can no longer be created. Do I need an app for a coffee maker? No—I’m old school, I can press a button with the best of them. But why does app still exist? And in making the argument for keeping the app up and running those blessed souls who created a login before the dark times, why not warn potential new users that this isn’t for them? And did I get a discount for my coffee maker given that not all of the features are available? At $300, I think not. P.S. The fact that the coffee maker can brew without the carafe in place is dumb, too. Never could get app to work then I just manually turned it on. It’s not easy to understand as I am trouble shooting in the dark without app. I just push them and hold it. And hope for the best. Still trying to figure out what all the light colors mean. ### 1/5 — Terrible User Interface *2021-01-17* Almost feels like they held a competition to make running a quickstart favorite take as many steps as possible when really all it should be is a single tap to initiate the brew you use everyday. It was one of the most frustrating apps on my phone for years and then... It just stopped working. It won't connect to the brewer any longer. I've tried on multiple phones, uninstallled and reinstalled, reset wifi... Nothing. Support won't talk to me because I bought it "used" (from a journalist who used it for a few days for a comparison article he was writing). Haven't had any crashes and it's fairly simple to navigate, however, some descriptions/tips on-screen of craft vs. brew vs. buzz would be helpful. Just a few extra features would be nice to make it a 5 star... the green ring and the daddo light always being on is a lot, it would be nice to shut off the green ring and only display the daddo light when in standby. Also it would be nice to save a favorite scheduled brew, so you can click one button to brew the next day at the same time the same way, after all - we are creatures of habit. ### 4/5 — Ok app, gets the job done *2017-09-05* The app is relatively easy to use. They made it to consider situations if someone has several brewers I guess. So you have to go into more stages than a typical household would need. It would be great to see what the quick start saved settings are and what brew is scheduled. It would also be great to have favorite settings you can name by the coffee with buttons on the start screen for each. We like to switch things up but have to use a post it note to remember the settings. Between the temperature, presoak, and filter options, there is too much to remember. But the app is a great feature nonetheless. We enjoy our coffee maker. ### 4/5 — Great coffee - App needs quick brew *2017-06-25* I've had this brewer for around a year and it has been great! One minor change which we move this to five stars, is to have a quick brew option from my phone. I can press one button on the hardware, but I have to traverse through an eternity of screens to make coffee from my phone. Can you please add a one click brew button?! ### 4/5 — Love the brewer, but the app needs some work *2017-03-31* Just got my Behmor connected and am thrilled with the entire thing. The coffee is outstanding! Love being able to control it through the app, but feel the software needs a lot of work. Why can't you set a timer for the Buzz options? Why can't you delay the brew with the craft choices? Also, please add a wake up timer for the delay option! Please revamp! Thanks! ### 3/5 — Many features but oddly lacks no-brainer programmability *2018-05-07* The app is great, and it’s nice to be able to start your coffee from bed (if you did the right prep the night before). Very unique controllability in certain respects - temperature, etc. But I am really surprised how hard the app makes it to program auto-start times. Most coffee makers let you set it with one press of the button. It takes so many steps to access the feature in the Behmor app. And every time you set it, you have to start from scratch - it doesn’t even save the last time you set. It would be so easy for them to enhance the user experience in a major way by just making a few little tweaks! ### 3/5 — Awesome brewer, app has potential *2017-07-27* I am so happy with the brewer, and the app does provide basic functionality for operation. There is so much potential to really make the app drive the experience which would cause more interest and drive sales. Would be great to be able to see brew history and log what beans were used and the results, as well as set profiles for each brew (beyond the one QuickStart). Alexa does work with the brewer, would also be great to tie brew operation to your alarm. I'm really looking forward to the app development :) ### 2/5 — It could be great but it isn’t *2020-06-20* Coffee maker works great but the app is sub par. You need to press 5 buttons to get a “ quick start” too many !
