### 3/5 — Some enemies do way too much damage when your health is barely even high enough

*2021-06-03, version 1.1.0*

Your weapons don’t do much damage, the enemies do to much damage, and your health when you get there is barely enough to withstand any enemy that’s above a spider or rat.

### 4/5 — UPDATE PLS

*2021-03-04, version 1.1.0*

I just think they should update it because if they furthered this game it would be fun

### 4/5 — Fun but a Little Unbalanced

*2020-11-11, version 1.1.0*

I've been playing with the rouge for a little bit and I found out that you can get 3+ salads heal you by three after each battle, and you can also get 3+ crossbows that add a d4 of damage, you can also get other items that increase any given stat several times, as well as many potions and other consumables.

### 4/5 — Simple and fun

*2020-06-20, version 1.0.9*

Some reviews are a bit too harsh,it seems. There isn't a whole lot to this game. It's fairly simple. There are no hidden fees. There's not a lot of character growth either. It will tie up a days worth of time to finish most of the goals. My only complaint is that I've never seen so many natural 1s roll on a d20 in my entire life 😂 Don't expect anything deep. It's a simple and fun dice based time killing rpg. Only one thing I would like to see added: the ability to run from a fight. Even having to roll against dexterity or something to see if you fail.

### 3/5 — Gets old fast

*2020-05-21, version 1.0.8*

It’s a decent game. Simple mechanics and a pinch of strategy that make it fun to play for a little while. However, once you’ve unlocked a couple of classes, it starts to get pretty stale. What’s the point of continuing to play just to unlock a new class with slightly different play style? As far as I’m concerned there isn’t one. Deleted it after a couple days.

### 5/5 — It’s a roguelike

*2020-05-17, version 1.0.8*

People complaining about how hard this is have never played a roguelike before. This is a fun game, if a little aggravating at times. Great work!!

### 3/5 — 3.5 stars

*2020-05-15, version 1.0.7*

Saw that they read reviews so I’ll say I actually do really like the game but the way you get your items is...weird, wish they scaled in a better way. And I wish there were more options on the rooms you can choose! All in all I like the game, can’t wait for more content

### 5/5 — Great game

*2020-05-14, version 1.0.7*

Been playing the game a LOT since it came out it’s a fantastic take on a dnd rougelite that I never thought I would see. And for still being and early state of the game it’s a lot of fun with crazy combos that come up you wouldn’t think of like the barbizard as a dev called it. the discord I would say is my favorite part of the game though it’s great being able to talk to and give feedback to the devs directly your opinion and thought definitely matter.

**Developer response:** Hey Amo0127,

Thank you! It warms our hearts to read stuff like this and it makes us work even harder to make a better game for you guys!

More Behoarder coming soon! Stay tuned!

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2020-05-11, version 1.0.6*

The inventory system is incredibly unintuitive and there is not enough variety in weapons, enemies, classes etc., the spellcasting component doesn’t really make sense. That all said, the game is a decent way to kill some time, and is pretty fun despite its shortcomings

### 3/5 — Too easy

*2020-05-11, version 1.0.6*

I love this game, but the problem I have with it is that sure until you get a different class its a bit of grind but in my experience as soon as I got the rogue class I won in the 2nd attempt so maybe you could up the difficulty when you get a new class or something

### 4/5 — Good game so far

*2020-05-11, version 1.0.6*

Played for a couple of hours tonight. Instantly sucked in. I can’t wait to see what’s coming in the future. I almost beat the Behoarder just now on a wizard run, but I failed. Time to try again.

### 5/5 — Good game

*2020-05-09, version 1.0.6*

I don’t get why people rate it badly. It’s still in beta and there are big changes that will be coming in the future so give it time. Overall a really great game

### 2/5 — Needs balancing

*2020-05-08, version 1.0.6*

This game could be a LOT of fun, but it just isn’t. I wish I enjoyed playing it, as the concept and design is solid, but as other have said the execution isn’t there. Almost impossible to level high enough before facing a creature that kills you outright. I understand random chance, but it’s just not possible to gain enough levels to compete past the 4th or 5th encounter. The recent update helped a lot, but it wasn’t even close to enough to make the game playable. Again, I love the concept and the style, and the dev is onto something with this game, but I just can’t. I’ll come back to try again after the next update.

**Developer response:** Hey Josh with TOO maby baby pics, we are working on the balance and want to find that sweet spot where battles are not unfair but still feel like a challenge. Please send us your feedback at our brand new Discord server https://discord.gg/zVggBRC Have a nice day!

### 2/5 — Would love this game

*2020-05-08, version 1.0.6*

I love this game but after a couple hours playing i was just getting low number 1-10 and if if you don’t decide to fight and keep going into to the other one the monster keep getting stronger even though you don’t fight the monster also I might include the chance to get a weapon from my experience playing the game are very low.

### 4/5 — Love it! But a few issues and suggestions

*2020-05-08, version 1.0.6*

Hi i love the concept and is a fun game overall but there are a few annoyances like how the trinket tab blocks part of the item selector and the trinket tab itself does not show you all of your trinkets. Another thing is after playing for a while items pile up and there is no way of discarding items that you have no use for so a trash button would be nice. Other than that the game is great. One suggestions i have is adding more creatures and items to give the game more variation and also adding a description of the monsters you face or giving them weaknesses to certain type of spells or if there already is make it more accessible.

**Developer response:** Hey Mr.Mozzy, thank you for the kind words! It means a lot to us. The trinkets tab is fixed and will be up on next patch :) If you want to follow the development of the game we have a Discord Server, you can jump in and talk directly to us https://discord.gg/zVggBRC
Have a good day!

### 3/5 — Could use some rebalancing

*2020-05-07, version 1.0.6*

The game it’s self is a great idea I love this style of games but the classes I need a little more balancing bcuz the rogue is so easy to play with bcuz of the steal it’s op, at the beginning up the second to last battle all u need to do is steal stuff and u can easily win and u can steal 3 to 4 pieces of items which is op so you even need to use the mysterious path bcuz it’s no longer needed.

Overall, I think it’s a good game that just needs some more balancing plus more content 😁

**Developer response:** Hey King'sLaw, glad you like the game! We are working on balancing and would love to hear your feedback at our Discord Server! https://discord.gg/zVggBRC jump in and follow Behoarder's development! Have a nice day!

### 3/5 — The balance dude

*2020-05-07, version 1.0.6*

The game makes it impossible to grow high enough in levels while also staying alive and the boss comes way too soon

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Please fix

*2021-12-24, version 2.0.3*

This is a visually pleasing game but the aspect of only the player rolling and being able to miss bothers me like why have the shield stat for the player when the monsters don’t roll and either hit or miss instead it feels like a set path for each monsters attacks

### 1/5 — Too tough even when I have a class

*2020-05-16, version 1.0.8*

Don’t get me wrong when I say this is a good game but you guys need to tone down the enemy damage just a bit I can’t go one fight without getting bodied by an enemy because he hits a random critical I don’t understand it I like the game just make the enemies a little easier so that people can get further

### 1/5 — Game is pure crap

*2020-05-07, version 1.0.6*

First off, any game that you regularly die to the first enemy because of RNG rolls is bad design.

Second, you HAVE to constantly battle and avoid “?” Rooms if you even want a CHANCE at beating the Behoarder plus you need to be really lucky with loot drops and pray you get a good weapon.

If the game didn’t steamroll you with bad rolls, loot and enemies then it’d be pretty enjoyable.

### 1/5 — First 2 runs are amazing

*2020-05-05, version 1.0.5*

Then the actual game starts and it seems that you HAVE to buy an item at the start of every run just so you dont lose a good stat roll on the FIRST enemy, the amount of gold you get per run is just so measly, and if you do manage to get passed the first few enemy’s you will just come by one in the next few rooms that will 2-3 shot you and you miss ~60-70% of the time it’s frustrating the game has so much potential but as of right now save your time.

### 1/5 — Terrible gameplay

*2020-05-05, version 1.0.5*

The game is interesting and could be good but it is impossible to get past the first two to five enemy’s since you either don’t have the gear to deal damage or aren’t a high enough level to beat them. The RNG is also severely lopsided towards the AI.

### 1/5 — I’m confused

*2020-05-04, version 1.0.5*

Normally when you make a game you want people to enjoy it. There’s nothing to enjoy about a game that has enemies snowball you in the first 3 enemies. Items are also extremely overpriced. Bought a 60 gold item and ended up dying to the 4th enemy which got me (get this) 12 gold. Rogue likes are fun.... if the dev knows how to make it fun. This one does not

### 1/5 — Poorly executed

*2020-05-04, version 1.0.5*

Great potential but severely unbalanced. Graphics are good but gameplay is slow and monsters are way overpowered from the get. No long term incentive to grind, only a couple hold per run will take 100+ runs to get enough for a new character. There should be more rollover stats or items to move the game along

### 1/5 — Pretty Much Unplayable

*2020-05-03, version 1.0.5*

I don’t often write reviews unless I’m thoroughly impressed or depressed with a game. D&D is a classic and a favorite of mine and, don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind a little bit of rng spice. That all being said, this game is just... a good concept with poor execution? Visually, it looks pristine, but let’s talk actual gameplay. The balancing is terrible. The game makes you choose between items or levels, but both seem to be entirely sporadic with the items failing to scale vs the risk to gain them and the monsters becoming boss level after 5 battles. Either way, you’re going to make a bad choice. This would be accept if there was the “grind element” to the game. This being hand in hand with permanent continuation aspects such as leveling, gear, skill trees, etc. But each run yields you a measly bit of gold to unlock classes that don’t even seem worth the investment.

All in all, I think with enough tweaking and redesign the game could be enjoyable. However, for now, I’m just left questioning how I just wasted an hour of my life and why this game was released without a balance check.

**Developer response:** Hey Snvck, thank you for your feedback. Behoarder is still in active development and we are listening to your feedback. If you would like to be part of it, jump in our brand new Discord server https://discord.gg/zVggBRC and talk with us

Have a nice day!

### 1/5 — buggy, overly difficult

*2020-05-02, version 1.0.5*

I appreciate the spirit of the design, but it doesn’t work. Test your product before you introduce it to the world.
I played this game five or six times. The interface gave me one option during combat: unarmed attack. Having only one option at my disposal, I lost hopelessly to the very first enemy time after time, due, I guess, to bad luck. I don’t see the point. Run ads to let players press a “lose” button? No thanks.

### 1/5 — Stupidly difficult

*2020-04-30, version 1.0.3*

Not really sure the point of the game if you can’t even get past the first monster without hoping to the ring gods that you aren’t going to get one shot and do no damage, it’s so difficult for not any great reason

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Love the game

*2021-08-12, version 2.0.3*

Great indie game with even better community. Pretty active discord with very nice devs that actually take your thoughts into consideration.

### 5/5 — Lots of fun for what it is

*2020-12-12, version 1.1.0*

I was turned off by the other reviews but don’t trust them. This was a great little D&D inspired dungeon crawl. Difficulty was well balanced - it takes a few runs to power up your chars. Text and monsters are well done and overall had a lot of fun. Unlocked 2 classes so far, looking forward to unlocking the others. Worth a download and play through for sure!

### 5/5 — Best update by far

*2020-09-08, version 1.1.0*

Has this game from the start and it has only gotten better, it had a short dungeon crawl in the beginning with little variety in equipment, spells, and monsters. Now with these past two updates they have made more equipment and monsters, made conditions a thing making combat more fun, added new dice for someone to strive to collect them all, and are even now making the game even better. I wish I could give this more stars

### 5/5 — Fantastic Game

*2020-07-11, version 1.0.10*

Great, polished game without constant in your face ads which seems like a rarity nowadays. Definitely a good mix of strategy and RNG, I’ve been enjoying it a lot, keep up the good work devs. Don’t know what everyone’s complaining about, once I figured out a strategy for each character I was able to quickly reach the end. Anyone who says otherwise is probably a moron, so if you’re not a moron go ahead play this game.

### 5/5 — Really cool idea with a lot of potential!

*2020-07-09, version 1.0.10*

Wanted to just take a second and say this a really cool concept and looking forward to more updates in future. Only criticism is that there could be a little more variety in terms of enemies as well as bosses. Also had an idea that there could be sort of a party system just like normal D&D.
Lookin forward to it!

### 5/5 — Review

*2020-07-09, version 1.0.10*

It’s pretty fun, got some things that could use fixing, but other than that it’s a great game, I’m excited to see more content added to it.

### 5/5 — Good game

*2020-07-08, version 1.0.10*

I don’t normally leave reviews but I do like the overall gameplay and the way you guys have it set up as well as the fact that you guys have constant support and updates as well as a system (Discord) to let people know what’s going on

### 5/5 — Great game. Can’t wait for more.

*2020-07-06, version 1.0.10*

I’m having a great time with this game and I can’t wait for the developers to release more content. Hopefully it comes soon. Although I would like a paid version of the app with more content.

### 5/5 — Fun pick up and play game

*2020-06-28, version 1.0.10*

I’ve seen it called DnD lite and that’s pretty close. Very simple game but very fun to play. Pick it up and play a quick game, or two or three. The new update includes new dice skins, so more incentive to play to unlock them. Looking forward to the future of Behoarder. Great work

### 5/5 — Fun game

*2020-05-17, version 1.0.8*

Recent updates made to the game have improved it a great bit in my eyes. Very enjoyable and clean.
