• Push notifications can now be turned on anytime under Settings → Notifications
• Chats: the message field sits right above the keyboard
• Sending several messages in a row is more reliable
• Feed and Reels are more stable, even when scrolling fast
• Story replies are no longer hidden behind the keyboard
• Signing out and starting the app without internet work reliably

### 1.3.2 — 2026-09-28

New in this version:

• Reply to a specific message in chats
• See mutual followers on profiles
• Reels play with sound
• New notifications: replies to your comments, likes on your articles and events, event reminders, new events in your city and follow requests
• Invite friends, share posts, profiles and events as links
• City field in your profile with suggestions as you type
• Fixed: crash on launch on some iPhones and iPads
• Many more fixes

### 1.3.1 — 2026-09-21

BELES has been rebuilt from the ground up as a true iPhone app instead of a web wrapper. Launching, scrolling and video playback are noticeably smoother.

• iOS 26 look: a floating glass navigation bar that gets out of the way while you read
• Stories: editor with text, stickers, polls, trimming and saving with watermark
• Connect: Friendship, Dating and Business stay cleanly separated
• Messages: reactions, voice messages, group management
• New app icon
• Many fixes across feed, comments and notifications

### 1.2.3 — 2026-09-08

The app starts noticeably faster and moves between sections more smoothly. Videos in the feed and in Discover start without a brief flash, the groups screen loads calmly, and profiles open faster.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-08-14

New in this release:

- New emoji picker in chats and comments — with skin tone selection via long-press.
- Links now show a preview; shared events appear as cards in direct messages.
- Connect shows who likes you — and why.
- Daily Wisdom with real Tigrinya proverbs — now open for comments.
- Feed: refresh jumps back to the top, images no longer flicker.

Also included:

- Photos and videos upload reliably again — including large videos.
- Discover, People and Profile no longer stay empty on a slow connection.
- Voice messages now tell you when sending fails.
- Shared links and QR codes point to beles.app correctly.

Thank you for being part of our diaspora community.
