Loved having a device that could add my home stereo to Apple Home but it stopped working. While the receiver device itself is really practical, I have to reset it several times a day due to syncing issues with AirPlay. What a waste because the only way to properly use the equalizer is to have the sound form app connected to the actual unit. Setup has lasted for 12 hours as I slept off while waiting for an endless connection. ### 1/5 — How to connect to sound form connect *2025-11-11, version 2.8.14106* I usually don’t write reviews but seeing so many people frustrated with the expensive device and cannot connect the adapter, I decided to share my experience. Hopefully this helps some people out there. DO NOT USE THIS DEVICE TO CONNECT! TAP Instead! Use your phone to tap the adapter like you are paying with Apple Pay. Then the phone will recognize this device and has a pop up on the bottom of the screen asking if you wanna connect and add this device to Home app. Go through that setup such as choosing a room, assigning a name for the device. Then ouala ith the expensive device and cannot connect the adapter, I decided to share my experience. I’ve tried to connect with multiple phones android and iPhone. I am able to connect via google home but that is not my preferred assistant. App ne fonctionne plus et obsolescence programmé des appareils. *2025-04-28, version 2.8.14106* J’ai une super enceinte Belkin x Devialet, et je vois clairement l’obsolescence programmée. Google fait des maj tout les soirs à minuit, pourtant cette enceinte n’est plus capable de comprendre quand je dis au minuteur de s’arrêter, je suis obligé de la débrancher à chaque fois. La charge sans fil ne fonctionne que 10 sec après s’arrête pourtant je ne tente de l’utiliser que depuis peu. J’ai fini par me dire « peut être qu’il faut que je fasse une maj depuis l’App Belkin » et là je vois que l’app ne trouve pas mon appareil quelque soit la méthode que je fasse un reset ou que l’appareil soit déjà connecté à mon téléphone. Je peux caster mais, l’app officielle ne peut pas trouver mon appareil. Donc, les problèmes apparaissent dans le software sans qu’il n’y est de problème dans l’hardware et rien ne peut l’arranger… Ça s’appelle de l’obsolescence programmée. Audio was delayed on the device the Soundform was connected to which caused an echo effect. I was delighted when I found this app which easily fixed the issue. Setup the speaker and Integrates the speaker with Alexa. After the speaker setup, Airplay works as expected through music apps like Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. However, the app needs to improve on its UI design with human interface design guidelines for iOS. ### 4/5 — Needs an EQ *2022-09-20, version 2.8.9322* The speaker is good but needs an equalizer setting or at least sound profiles such as vocal, dance, acoustic, etc. Customizing these sound profiles with full EQ options can be for future but basic sound profiles are needed Asap. Pls add!! Overall, I had no issues connecting and pairing on my wifi. After setup I was quickly able to play from iPhone and also from the computer with no additional steps since airplay picked up instantly.
