## What is BeLooped?

BeLooped helps Groups of People fulfill their shared Purpose by equipping them with Communications and other Tools in a safe, Private, virtual space.

The groups you belong to are all in one app, with zero ads and just one UI to learn.  Group membership is by invitation only; that keeps the trolls out, and the group's manager can "swipe left" to evict those who behave inappropriately.

All group data stays in the group.  Your data is yours, not ours.

There is no charge to use BeLooped as a member of someone else’s group. Your own groups are limited in the free version; to manage more groups (or larger ones) requires a monthly or yearly in-app subscription.

Your persona (the data you share about yourself) can be different in each and every group. Be Emily’s mom in the daycare group, Ms. Marshall at work and the gym, and Autumn with family and friends - with different pictures, contact and even address information for each.

Once the group is set up:
  • use Forum for group-wide real-time discussions including pictures. Curation is handled by the group's manager.
  • use News to share important announcements with the entire group.
  • use Resources to share links to websites, companies, locations and people relevant to the group.
  • group members share what they are comfortable sharing; they maintain their own profiles and share only what they choose to.
  • easily and quickly contact individual members using their preferred methods.

I love using BeLooped and have found so many great ways to utilize it. I use it for everything from extended family communication, to organizing my Girl Guides parent group, to keeping track of our own family resources such as health care providers.

This is great app. I've had no issues with it after several months of use. I use it for a couple of groups to which I belong. It allows me to easily and securely communicate with the whole group, subgroups and individual members. Everyone is always kept in the loop. The support is great and the developer is always seeking to improve the app. It's effective and affordable. What more can you ask for. Pretty darn cool. Yes, I said darn.

- We fixed a bug that prevented a very small number of people from generating an invitation code.
- We fixed the color of the spinner, check mark and ghost on some of our alerts when in dark mode.
- The about screens didn’t react instantly when toggling light/dark mode.  They do now.
- We fixed an issue where the dates of news articles could not be changed.
- We fixed a small cosmetic bug where sometimes the text of the back button would truncate with an ellipsis in the middle of it even though there was plenty of room to display the complete text.

We fixed a bug that happened when joining a group using the default member icon, the App would crash.

• We fixed a bug where sometimes when joining a group, the group didn’t immediately show up in the group list.
• While we were fixing the above issue, we discovered that people’s photos that were added, either when they were invited, or when they joined were also not showing up, so we fixed that.
• In certain circumstances, BeLooped would freeze when it woke from sleep. Fixed.
• Leaving a group by tapping the ‘Leave Group’ button at the bottom of your profile now properly transitions you back to the Group List.  It didn’t before, and that was a bug.
