The shortfall may last for days and then, unexplainably, works fine. Very annoying. ### 2/5 — Connection issues *2021-01-23* Ever since it updated 2 months sho, I have had Bluetooth connection issues. The connection comes and goes. Sometimes it is only connected to one ear, sometimes none at all. It is very frustrating. I did but have these issues before the update. I wish I could get htt egg lonforvthus problem. ### 3/5 — Re-app *2020-12-08, version 4.5.0* Hi. After I reset it. I just want to smooth with you, but the Beltone HearPlus app went disconnected twice, whenever I’m on and off with the music and the GPS. So I deleted twice and re-app with connection again. It disconnects from my aides,, steadily has to delete and RE-install. Get it together developers. And it has never ever alerted me of a text message. Make THAT happen. And I’ll be HAPPY Developers (11/08/19) I am HAPPY HAPPIEST Ever! I received my 1st text message thru my aides. Keep up the Great work UPDATE: It didn’t happen,,, no text alert.:( Update 11/21/19 I have noticed that “yes”,,, thru HearPlus you CAN get text message notifications thru the my hearing aids,,,, BUT,,, ONLY when the iPhone is not silenced, I work so phone has to be silenced,,, so it would be more beneficial if text messages would work thru my hearing aids then,,,, Go getem developers?, make it happen,, I know that you can!!!! Update—01/06/20-1st—I did finally hear a message alert,,, but it can’t be in silenced mode,,, it can only be turned down low,,, in order to receive the text alert. Now a note to the developers @@@@@ Please get rid of the questionnaires,,,, they disconnect the aids,,,,and we hearing impaired,,, don’t even know that we have been UNPLUGGED. For older impaired people please please rid the questions,,, that force us to answer before being reconnected. DEVELOPERS I appreciate you,,, in handling that questionnaire issue,,, keep up the great work. No issues now with my aides. 02/15/2020 Unaware of the aides being disconnected. What is going on??? Please check on it. 03/01/20 The app is not picking up my location change 4/14/20 Location change is not picking up ### 2/5 — Hearing aids won’t stay connected with latest update *2020-02-27, version 4.3.0* When I exit the app, the hearing aid disconnects. So whatever I’m listening to gets cut off. Making this app useless, can’t use the phone, listen to music or watch movies/tv shows. ### 2/5 — Still have problems *2020-02-02, version 4.1.1* I have an Apple XR. VERY FREQUENTLY I have to delete the app and re-download it again to get it to connect to my hearing aides. . This still occurs with brand new batteries. When the app works, it is wonderful, but when it doesn’t, it is worthless!!!! ### 2/5 — Connectivity issues *2019-12-04* This app hasn’t been stable since I updated my IOS two updates ago. I have been hoping for a fix with this app and it seems from talking to others that many have had the same problem and we get the same generic way to connect and or fix that we have had since the first instal and yet before it worked and now it doesn’t keep my hearing aids connected to the app. My hearing aids stay connected to my phone but the app drops them and then you have to constantly go into demo mode then it will connect after you leave demo. This is not what a paying customer would expect. Very disappointed with this app now but I have it a 2 star because when it did work, it was everything I needed. Now it’s just a frustrating work around and hoping someone fixes this issue eventually. ### 2/5 — IOS 13 Issues *2019-11-21* Since upgrading to IOS 13 with an IPhone 7S Plus the App will not show that is connected. I can not control the hearing aids thru the App but can thru the IOS 13 hearing aid controls. iOS shows my presets and can change the preset. If I delete the Hear Plus App and reinstall the Hear Plus App will function but by the end of the day it quits functioning. Is there an update coming soon to address this bug? ### 3/5 — Issues unresolved *2019-10-17, version 4.1.1* Last iPhone updates made a mess for my hearing aids. It’s one thing to receive phone calls and media via Bluetooth. Thank you for that, great to have!!! It’s another though, to have every sound the phone makes the same way. I take sometimes over 1,000 pictures a day with my phone for work. Having the phone struggle to send the sound of a camera click to my devices causes a delay in snapping the pic, creating lots of out of focus shots. Also, with every sound, including any email received, taking pictures, and other sounds, my aids go mute while the phone is trying to connect. Very irritating and counterproductive! Please fix this! ### 1/5 — Now it doesn’t even work *2019-10-15, version 4.1.1* A minimally useful program now it will not connect to my hearing aids. Someone should do testing prior to the release of a new release. ### 2/5 — Bluetooth connectivity problems since latest update *2019-10-11, version 4.1.0* Edit on 10/1/19: Another update has come out (13.1.1) but there are still Bluetooth connectivity issues caused by these two recent updates. Please resolve ASAP. Edit on 9/24/19: The problem below was completely resolved after about 3 months but the latest update for my I-Phone (iOS 13.0) has caused the Bluetooth to be unreliable again. Please address this soon. The Bluetooth connection to my hearing aids with this app used to be pretty reliable until this latest update. I actually have to ask my devices to forget my hearing device and then pair again just to connect them which is really annoying. Once paired the connection is not as solid as it used to be. Hope this will be fixed soon! Otherwise, this app has been great. ### 3/5 — Issues? *2019-10-01, version 4.1.0* So...since the new ios update, I’ve not been able to use this app. I’m assuming the app is being updated/fixed along with the new ios software update? ### 4/5 — Delete and Reinstall after update *2019-09-25* Like other reviews my app did not function at all after the app update (I have iPhone 6 so I’m not on iOS 13). I deleted then reinstalled the app and it’s working. I did have to add my favorite setting back in. ### 1/5 — App can’t start *2019-09-23, version 4.1.0* After updating, the app can’t start. ### 3/5 — App won’t open *2019-09-22* Only problem I’ve had with the app is the volume would change entering and exiting other apps like games for instance. Never resolved that one. I want it to change only when I manually change it. Sooo I get the latest update and immediately the app won’t open at all past the Beltone logo. I wish I could remove the latest update. Guys the app needs some work ### 1/5 — IOS 13 connection issues *2019-09-20, version 4.0.1* Just updated my iphone X to IOS 13, now this app will not work. I tried deleting and reinstalling, nada! Tried updating my iphone in recovery mode (Apple’s suggestion) Nada!! This is simply ridiculous!! Come on GN/ Beltone do something!! ### 3/5 — Bluetooth connection time issues *2019-06-30* When I use a map app for turn-by-turn directions, the delay in the Bluetooth connection from my iPhone XSMax to my excellent iPhone Beltone heating aids means that the first few words are always cut off. This is not only annoying, it can be very dangerous in traffic or approaching a complex intersection. I understand the principles of Bluetooth and know that physics is physics, but I wish the apps could be coordinated so that the map app would not start “speaking” until the connection was complete, at least for Apple and Google map apps. Please. ### 1/5 — Update broke the app *2019-06-10, version 4.0.1* The latest update with tons of new stuff broke the app. My phone is still connected to the hearing aids L &R but they are no longer connected to the app and will not connect no matter how many times I go thru the rebooting. Have an I-phone and when I sync to my phone and hearing aids it will not let me choose one of my programs. It is stuck on an IPhone setting. (Note that earlier iPhones don't work with the app as well). You can have your local Belltone representative help with the setup or download it yourself and choose the preferred settings such as "Restaurant", "Music" and "All-Around". I also find it useful to setup "Favorites" for meetings or watching TV by adjusting the base, treble and volume. The fun part of Favorites is you can set the location, such as a sports arena, theatre, office or home, the hearing aids will automatically "connect" when you arrive. ### 5/5 — iOS 10.0.2 pairing issues resolved with Beltone visit *2016-10-05* Although iOS 10.0.2 broke the pairing between my Beltone Firsts and iPhone, I simply went into Beltone today and had my hearing aids updated with the latest Beltone firmware and the pairing has worked successfully since. This is a very convenient app and works as advertised. Beltone and Apple have done a very impressive job with this software. ### 5/5 — Finder feature indispensable! *2016-07-31* Had not realized until 1:30 am that left hearing aid was missing. Checked finder which said left hearing aid last seen at a location downtown. Drove there using map feature then switched to nearby, which indicates nearness by increasing green line as you get nearer. Sure enough my hearing at was at my feet - in a parking lot. I'm so grateful for this feature I had to show my appreciation by rating this app. Thank you Beltone! ### 5/5 — Best Idea Ever *2014-11-08* Beltone and Apple have helped the hard of hearing by Bluetooth and application. The application has my places where you can modify you hearing to the setting. Then the next time you are there you phone used GPS and changes you hearing aids to the custom setting. All controls AMP, base, treble, left, and right are on your iPhone. The coolest part is your calls go directly to your hearing aids!
