## What is Belty?

Belty — Timing Belt Tuner

Pluck a timing belt, and Belty tells you its frequency.

Measure
Real-time frequency analysis. Averages multiple plucks and reports the dominant frequency with a confidence interval, plus secondary tones for harmonic checking.

Tune
Set a target frequency and adjust the belt. A live indicator tells you tighter, looser, or on target, so you can dial in a span without stopping to re-measure.

History
Save, name, and favorite any measurement or calculation.

Also includes a tension calculator (GT2 2mm/3mm, GT3 3mm, HTD 3M, HTD 5M, MXL, XL, plus custom belts from a datasheet), giving loose, medium, and tight targets in Hz and newtons, and a belt length calculator for open-belt geometry in both directions.

Everything runs on device. No account, no data collected, no audio recorded. The mic is only used to listen to the belt.
