I spent a lot of time making a good rec list of skincare - full of things i actually tested longterm and worked for me. i made sure to write a good description for each. is that enough? NO. they won’t “optimize” it meaning people won’t see it. When you’re making a list and you search for a product (for example I was trying to make a target Christmas haul post) I tried searching up the gingerbread mug, the gingerbread house pillow, pajamas, cookies and Xmas lights I got and it redirects to weird links and websites. Even when I typed in “target.com” it couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. If it was directly connected to affiliate codes and websites that you could easily track your analytics that would be one thing but you can’t actually make specific searches. Also the feed isn’t organized in a way that makes scrolling fun like on Pinterest. It’s just a bunch of no value, random lists I don’t care about. LTK and Amazon affiliate program is already years ahead of this app with a system that already works. Also paying people to comment on TikTok’s feels sooooo spamy to me. I wanted to like this app so badly but it’s just not good. ### 1/5 — Scam app *2025-05-24* I was promised a Sephora giftcard of $20 in 24hrs if I invite 20 people of which I did and I still haven’t received it for days now nothing…it’s a red flag for an app to make a promise and not keep to it I’m deleting it soon and telling everyone I invited to do the same if I don’t get my gift card as promised. **Developer response:** Hi Ugojnr5 - this is absolutely not the experience we want our users to have! Thanks! ### 1/5 — They do not pay *2025-05-11* I was promised a badge if I invited one person and make a list in 24 hrs and when I did they failed to do their end of the deal. People should be paid for their content and creativity. If and app doesn’t pay you from day one, be suspicious. I would never recommend this app to anyone. ### 1/5 — They don’t want to be successful. 1 Star. *2025-04-21* Your profile is looking great, and the Benable algorithm has flagged it as high quality! Unfortunately, the algorithm can’t boost your profile fully yet, as it looks like almost all of your recommendations have affiliate links. On Benable you can create lists of anything you recommend: products, activities, travel recs, local services, resources, videos, articles, anything! One of the things people love about Benable is the quality of the content, genuine people sharing genuine recommendations. So the Benable algorithm can sometimes penalize profiles that it deems are overly storefront-y or sales-y. So although listing products you love on Benable is great, it’s important to balance out that content with some lists and recommendations that are less transactional. For example, you could create a list of your favorite restaurants or local activities, trusted services you love, or online resources, etc. Whatever is authentic to you - the more creative the better! As soon as your profile page is a bit more well-rounded, the algorithm will help increase the reach of all of your lists. I have wasted so much time. There are people who don’t even have notes on products but are optimized. It’s a waste of time. Stick to Amazon or other ways to make money.
