## What is Bench?

Your lab buddy for the bench.

Bench does the arithmetic you'd otherwise scribble on a glove box or a paper
towel — molarity, dilutions, buffers, percentages, nucleic acids — and keeps
the answer where you can find it again.

A KEYPAD THAT UNDERSTANDS UNITS

Type 15 mL ÷ 3 and get 5.0 mL. Bench tracks the dimensions through the whole
expression, so it knows a mass over an amount is a molar mass — and tells you
when the units don't work out instead of quietly handing you a wrong number.

IT KNOWS A FEW THINGS ABOUT REAGENTS

Buffer Prep carries the notes that matter while you're working: that Tris pKa
shifts about −0.03 per °C, that EDTA won't dissolve below pH 8, that acid goes
into water and never the reverse.

way to send your work anywhere — every calculation, every log entry, every
