A tad too much running back and forth in confusion (but that’s quite common in retro point & clicks) although the puzzles are very satisfying when you complete them. I found the ending to be rather rushed however this hasn’t spoiled my overall experience of the game. Epitome of that genre in the 90s complete with some of the less obtuse ‘banana on the metronome’ puzzles. I’m playing on iOS 14 on an iPhone 12 and it makes my phone incredibly hot, this draining the battery. There’s also a game crashing bug when you talk to the travel agent. Hat jemand den selben Bug ? ### 5/5 — Brilliant in every way *2021-03-26, version 1.9* I played this game off the back of my admiration for the Broken Sword series. I never played this game when it was released but I have to say that this really does open your eyes to how fantastic the guys at Revolution software really are. The story is brilliant and beyond its years for back then, the music is so infectious and the voice acting extremely comedic and keeps you interested. Just tremendous all round, highly recommend if you like an adventure that keeps you guessing. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — First Level *2026-03-29* Unable to pick up the rung in the very first playable section, only look and go 'I could make use of that' in an endless loop - or get shot by walking down. Would love to love this. It is the very first game I ever played, on my mothers Linux machine. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and have the latest iPad iOS for my iPad Pro. Once the beginning cutscene is done playing, the game freezes on a black screen 100% of the time. I was going to play it on PC but why not play it on sleepless nights in bed. Good story, good humor, creative world, and a hint system for the not so obvious steps thankfully bc the maps can be on the larger side sometimes. Id say it’s worth the price if you like games like Whispers of a Machine or Unavowed, this seems like a solid predecessor. Os criadores da série Broken Sword são os responsáveis por essa obra de ficção científica e os fundamentos de point and click estão presentes. Alguns enigmas são bem difíceis mas depois de um tempo é possível resolvê-los e avançar com a estória de forma bem satisfatória.
