Thank you. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2022-07-16* The app works for about 5 seconds then a screen comes up to pair the remote. Can’t get past this screen without the physical remote. Pointless app. **Developer response:** Hi Sir, The pairing message will pop up when the Bluetooth signal is weak/ signal interference. After pairing, you still can control with BenQ Smart Control. The pairing issue between the app on iPhone with the BenQ projector have been fixed by the app ver. 1.4.13 we released last week. Please kindly upgrade the installed smart control on your smart phone to fix the issue, or contact BenQ service center in your area if there’s anything ese not clear. Just wasted tons of time trying to get my phone and the projector to “talk” to each other. Followed all the directions. Support tells you just to use the remote that came with the projector, which is probably great advice if your toddler didn’t lose it. But mine did, so until I find it I’m stuck with this useless hunk of bits as the only option to control my projector. It’s 2024, I can’t think of a single reason why you would not put a functional remote control app into the App Store for a modern AV device. this is a real letdown BenQ. BenQ Support ### 1/5 — Absolute trash. Let me use my remote to watch Netflix *2023-12-26* If I could leave a zero I would. I just want to watch a Netflix show on my projector. I just want to use my remote and click the Netflix icon and press play, but no. We get to use this “smart” control. If you’re going to include a mouse and a touchpad, please include a keyboard, so we don’t have to fumble about. If the app is required to control the Netflix app, please engineer it in some way so that it doesn’t disconnect every minute, requiring me to exit Netflix and reprompt the projector to find the phone. 0 out of 5. Take the Apple TV remote app it Roku remote app for reference. Ex.
