## What is Bento Days?

A month is just thirty little boxes. Fill one a day.

Bento Days is a visual journal shaped like a paper planner: one grid, one box per day. A meal, a trip, a walk, a rough afternoon — drop in a photo you already took, add a line about it, and the day is done in seconds.

No streaks. No guilt. Miss a day and nothing breaks.

---

Your photos already know what you did

You took the picture. Bento Days reads its timestamp and drops it into the right box, so filling the page is picking rather than typing.

• Today's candidates appear in a drawer — swipe through and keep the ones worth remembering
• The photo becomes the box's picture, so there is nothing to draw

One line is enough

• A short note, a mood, a price — every field is optional
• Tag each entry so the month can add itself up later
• Put several entries in one day, or leave the box empty; an empty box is an invitation, not a gap

The month adds itself up

At the end of the month you get the page you actually want to look at: how often you did what, what it cost if you noted it, and thirty small pictures of where the time went.

• Category counts, running totals, and one honest number for the month
• Set a budget if you want one — or keep the number without a verdict attached
• A note for the whole month, for the part that does not fit in any single box

Your journal stays yours

• Every entry, photo and number you add is stored on your device — there is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and nothing is uploaded to us
• Photos are read where they already are, in your own library, and are never copied off the device
• Your journal works offline. If you turn on place names, only the coordinates of a photo are sent to your phone's map service — never your entries. The app is free and supported by ads; your entries are never part of that
• The privacy policy and terms are available from inside the app

---

Good for:
• Keeping a food diary without weighing or counting anything
• Trips, walks, pets, small wins and rough days — anything worth one line
• Remembering where the money went, when you feel like noting it
• People who love paper planners but never keep them up

Pick a box. Drop in a photo. That is your day.
