I love Bento App gets everything in one place, from appointment to payment, very straightforward. ### 5/5 — Very useful notification *2021-11-05* I love the new look and feel especially the quick links and notifications. What a mistake. Thankfully we’re switching back. The app is confusing, hard to set up. Quite frankly I don’t feel I should need to download an app to get the basic information required for a dental cleaning. I got so fed up that I finally gave up and just paid for the cleaning out of pocket. It was worth the $150 not to have to toy with this service. ### 1/5 — Not so fast *2020-03-02* You can't tell me twice that I it is a error in installing the app and information within. Only once does that work! I can't get the app to complete the set up. I get a message that indicates in review??? ### 1/5 — Really confusing when enrolled through employer *2020-01-29* Bento is contacting me by email after enrollment at work, but when trying to login, it tells me the email is unknown. I have by benefit number, they have my info, do I still have to do “sign-up”? ### 1/5 — Privacy *2019-11-26* If you’re concerned about your privacy and HIPPA, don’t use this app. Their “prices” are the same no matter what city you put in. The sign up process requires your social security number. I’m not giving that information. I’d say pass and move on ### 1/5 — Requires your SSN to sign up!! *2019-11-26* Requires your SSN just to sign up and they wait until the very last step to ask you for it. No thanks!! Shady... **Developer response:** Hello Lisa, thank you for your opinion. SSN is not required to sign up anymore! ### 2/5 — Confusing and contradicting *2019-10-28* Every time I open the app it asks me to update. I established that my dentist is in the bento network (with bento) but on the app in my past appointments they show up as out of network and it indicates that bento will only reimburse a small fraction of what they had told the dentist they would. If I had known this I would likely have not had the procedure done.
