If you go into Demo mode and click on cameras it will fail when you move to another rooms camera. It runs for about a little while and crashes on an iPad Air running 8.4.1(12H321). Just about every upgrade has some issues, come on guys, it's not like you are writing a complicated operating system like IOS for iPhone. Do some extensive testing on multiple platforms before releasing please. ### 1/5 — Nix *2014-11-28* Die App ist meines Erachtens immer noch Nix, fummelig und bildet eine Beo4 in wesentlichen Funktionen nach wie vor nicht ab. Meinen Beovision 11 steuere ich erst einmal weiter "klassisch" und warte gespannt auf ein Update. Nun zu meinem Fazit, ich halte die Anwendung für gelungen ( ohne Funktionstest mit entsprechender Hardware ) die Oberfläche sieht einfach B&O typisch gut aus. Sollte aber Retina fähig sein deshalb 3 Sterne. Ich hoffe nach dem Studium kann ich es mit iPhone12 testen :) ### 2/5 — jsut like their products *2011-01-17* not intuitive, over complicated with multiple glitches and bugs. ### 1/5 — 2.500,- € Extrakosten für Gateway zahlen *2010-11-24* Obwohl ich fast alles von B&O (2x TV, 2x Anlage, 5 Boxen, Subwoofer etc) geht das App nicht. Grund: ich habe kein Gateway für das System, was die Webanbindung herstellt. Kostenpunkt an Hardware dafür: rund 2.500,00 € inkl Installation! Die spinnen! Mit jeder Wii, PS3 etc kann ich mich leichter und billiger in mein Wlan-Netz einwählen! Also nur damit ich mein iphone als Fernbedienung nutzen kann so viel Kohle hinblättern? Neeee, dann bleib ich doch bei meiner Beo4- Fernbedienung. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2010-11-10* Like most things B&O release as of late. VORAUSSETZUNG ist aber natürlich die entsprechende hochpreisige Hardware. Ein B&O Gateway, EIB (vor allem bei Neubauten)... Ein iPhone hat keine andere Kommunikationsschnittstelle zu den Geräten. Die negativen Rezensionen kann ich mir nur durch Unwissenheit erklären. Das App ist nicht dafür gedacht, dass der Endkunde das App selber runterläd und in Betrieb nimmt, dafür ist der B&O Händler da. Das ist auch der einzige Grund, warum das App kostenlos im AppStore erhältlich ist. Die B&O Zielgruppe ließt und schreibt überwiegend ohnehin nicht hier. 4 Sterne gibt es, da es immer noch nicht Retinadisplay-optimiert ist. Grade bei der Premiumpreisklasse sollte man das erwarten können. I have all of my KNX building services working with my Beo5 remote (cannot wait for the new two way remote). The MLGW offers full home integration with just one box instead of multiple Crestron processors. Well done B&O!!!!! ### 5/5 — Ignore bad reviews! *2010-10-31* How can you give bad reviews if you've not used the app with the MasterLink Gateway unit??!! Properly set up with the correct equipment it works beautifully!! The Gateway is fairly new and lets your Bang & Olufsen kit talk to each other with more functionality and allows it to operate with home automation equipment such as lighting and electric blinds etc. You can also add it to a router and use the wireless on your iPhone or iPod Touch to control whatever is connected without having to be in the same room. So, unless you have products linked via MasterLink cables and have recently had MasterLink gateway installed and hooked up to your computer network the only thing you can do with the app is view a demo layout of what it could look like.
