Please update. The app is useless unless you don’t let it go to sleep. Not practical ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Not the greatest *2026-03-06, version 3.77.0026* Would be nice if the app would get updated to be more compatible with IOS 26. Was advertised to be updated to Virtual XL by the end of 2025, but still has yet to have been updated. Major hit or miss if it will pick up transmissions or not. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2022-04-16, version 3.72.0010* The update has ruined the app. It was ok before the most recent update but now I am paying money for an app that doesn’t even pick up radio traffic. If you’re using it in a public safety environment, do not rely on it for mission critical applications. It has multiple bugs with proper audio routing, particularly on receive. It also crashes regularly when attempting to switch talkgroups. I cannot imagine using this as a primary means of communication. If Harris is offering this as a solution for inadequate system coverage, it isn’t an acceptable substitute. ### 2/5 — Stops working when iPhone locks *2026-05-04, version 3.77.0026* The app update 1 year ago was reported to fix a problem when the app didn’t run in the background when the iPhone locks or when the iPhone screen goes blank. This is very frustrating to have to keep changing channels every 30 seconds so the phone doesn’t lock up and the app stops running. ### 2/5 — Still waiting on a up for IOS *2025-09-14* Will they create an app for the Apple Watch? It would be great if you could have audio and even PTT using an Apple Watch. ### 2/5 — Not the greatest *2025-02-24* Was trying this out with my work to see how it was to possibly try to bring to my county for fire department. When it works it works great. That being said though. I noticed it hasn’t been updated in over 4 months and that updates don’t come out very often. When you have the app open it picks up most of the time but not all the time. If you have the app running in the background it very seldom picks up anything. It’s constantly going down and telling me my credentials are incorrect when I know for a fact they are not incorrect. The here lately has been randomly closing itself out. So far not looking too good for a recommendation from me! ### 2/5 — Crashing and Bluetooth *2021-04-15, version 3.6.4* App keeps closing itself out and constantly have to log in and hard to connect Bluetooth devices that can use the PTT feature as well as the app constantly switches between the phone and speaker phone also causing missed traffic. ### 3/5 — Bluetooth issue *2025-05-09, version 3.77.0026* Need to make an update that fixes the app linking with my Apple Music. When I Bluetooth the app to my truck it automatically plays music on Apple Music and won’t stop. Much more reliable than other EPTT applications. Wish audio could be sent to an Apple watch or even allow the neon app to run on the new Apple Watch Ultra.… ### 4/5 — Biggest flaw *2022-07-01, version 3.74.0007* The app works great for what it is, but here's the biggest flaw/glitch: The audio option keeps switching randomly. Using an iPhone 6S, I set the audio to "Speaker" but after a few minutes or transmissions, it randomly switches to "Phone". App would be better with "Speaker" only option. Can’t save password for automatic log in, what is supposed to be default channel won’t stay as the default, not all audio logs for playback. Other members with Androids do not have any of these issues, but all of our Apple users do.
