I clicked on this free subscription and it automatically charged me $15.89 and redirected me to another site wanting me to pay another $9.99 a month. How is this no illegal?

Download this app thinking it was free there is a monthly subscription of $14.99 didn’t want it 
The app directly sent me to another website it was hard to get it off my phone don’t use you will be sorry
