The official Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) app is your personal travel companion at the capital's airport. Clearly and functionally designed, the BER App provides you with all the important information about your flight and stay at BER.

With the app, you can:

Why have an app showing security times and if they’re open or closed if ITS WRONG!!! T2 was closed when I arrived but the app showed it’s open with a nice short time for queue. Well. Good luck to anyone in a rush!!! Pointless!!! And nor accurate at all

Warum bringt man eine App heraus, bei der viele Angebote aus der App heraus zu einer Webseite führen ? Aus Alibi Gründen, damit man dabei ist und sagen kann, man hat eine App heraus gebracht ? Voll toll. Lustig daran ist aber dann auch noch, dass mir oben auf der Webseite angezeigt wird, dass ich ja die BER-App öffnen kann. Ist sehr durchdacht. Ach ja, durchdacht ist bestimmt auch, der überlappende Text wenn man bei „Valet Parking inkl. Fahrzeugreinigung“ auf mehr klickt und sich dann die Texte überschneiden. Es scheint aber mehr der Verlauf von Produkten und Dienstleistungen im Fokus zu stehen als Usability der App. Ansonsten funktionieren die Infos zu den Flügen, daher die Punkte.

Der Flughafen selbst ist schon sehr unübersichtlich. Das Schlimmste aber ist die Gepäckkontrolle. Ich bin 86 Jahre alt und 80% schwerbehindert. Nach dem obligatorischen Scanning wurde ich sehr intensiv 
(nicht angenehm) abgetastet und aus meiner Tasche und  meinem kleinen Handkoffer alles heraus gewühlt. Ich hatte Mühe nach einigen Erklärungen meine Medikamente und Salben behalten zu dürfen. Weil keine Ablage zur Verfügung stand durfte ich nach dieser Einlage auf dem Fußboden alles wieder einsammeln.  
Für dieses „Service“ ist ein Stern noch zuviel.

Der Flughafen ist einfach ein endloses Armutszeugnis der „Hauptstadt“. Nicht nur das er ewig verspätet und verschuldet fertiggestellt wurde gibt es hier auch so gut wie keine interessanten Langstreckenziele. Wofür wurde er gebaut? Um nach München oder Frankfurt fliegen zu können? Gepäckwagen können nur mit Münzgeld genutzt werden? Aufenthaltsbereich für Kinder sind ein paar Gummimatten in einem nicht genutzten Flur. Wenn man nach der Landung seinen Kinderwagen benötigt stößt man schlicht weg an die Kompetenzgrenzen der Architekten (wie auch bei vielen anderen Punkten die andere Flughäfen irgendwie ohne Probleme meistern). Schade.

Hallo in die Runde! Wenn man über die App ein Slot für die Runway bucht, lässt sich die Buchung hinterher nur über die Bestätigungsmail bearbeiten und nicht über die App. Es wäre schön, wenn man sich den dazugehörigen Flug in der App als Favorit setzen könnte und über „Meine Flüge“ auch seine Runway etc. buchen/verwalten/stornieren könnte.

Direkt im Startbildschirm der App funktioniert der Runway Button aber nicht wenn ich einen Flug markiere und speichere, dann hat er keine Funktion.

Bitte ergänzen Sie eine In-App Feedback Funktion, angelehnt an den DB Navigator. Auf diesem Weg würden Sie niedrigschwellig Feedback erhalten, was am Flughafen aus Passagiersicht gefällt und woran es in der Praxis noch fehlt.

Samstag abend geht mein Flug, ich kann Flüge bis Samstag sehen, nach dem Morgenflug steht dort „keine weiteren Flüge an diesem Tag“.
Ich hoffe, weiter geht nur das Zeitfenster in die Zukunft nicht, aber so - macht die Ansage Sorge.

There is a train strike in Germany and the BER does not reflect it - in fact the app still shows the trains running. 

Terrible information that makes me wonder about anything else they say.
