Several years ago I could no longer get into Bid with Bergen…I let it go. I use Bergen Bridge regularly and now I get 3 notices that say “about”. I click on it and I can no longer get the app. Just something about it so I would have to pay again.👎 ### 1/5 — App’s does’nt work *2025-03-31, version 3.2* Just bought the app’s cannot play the app’s keeps giving message error. You are asked questions, then given answers but with no explanations. There's no play involved, & the program is vague & poorly developed. According to the description, Mr. Bergen is right there with you to explain correct choices-- not hardly. It's amazing how some developers (if you could even give them that title) are allowed to simply take advantage of someone's desire to learn. It's not clear exactly what signals and discards conventions are being played. Some explanations could be detailed more. An overview somewhere of the conventions and signals used would be helpful. I even have the Bergen books; but there are different conventions and I don't know which ones are being used in the app. I hadn't played bridge for 35 years and I'm just starting over again. ### 4/5 — App keeps Freezing *2020-11-05* I absolutely love this app and I’m learning a great deal from it. However, it keeps freezing up whenever I turn it off and try to get back in. It used to take a couple of tries, but now it takes about 10 tries to get back in. Would love to recommend it to my friends, but not until this problem is fixed. HELP....... I deleted this app because I couldn’t get back on it, with the intention of re-installing it. Now it doesn’t recognize that I already paid for it. What’s going on here? Please rectify. ### 4/5 — Great tool to improve one’s bridge game *2020-07-18* This app has improved my bridge game more than all the other apps, websites, and library of bridge books. I’ve learned more about when to draw trump, how and when to finesse, and even to better evaluate winners and losers in my hand. Other reviews mention objections to the questions. I learned a lot from the questioning and added these questions to my hand evaluation. ### 3/5 — Freezes up *2018-05-30, version 2.9* Like the game very much. But played it for 2 days and both days it froze up. It asks questions to get you thinking while you play and tells you when and why you are making a mistake. BUT, most of the time, it freezes and says no internet connection available even though all my other apps work and my iPad shows I do have internet. Really needs a bug fix. ### 2/5 — I loved this app until .... *2020-06-12, version 2.11* I started with the beginners set. Loved it. Then ready to move up, I bought intermediate. This somehow changed things so the iPad display didn’t work anymore for either level and I couldn’t see the cards. (They were squished together).
