The Benetton constantly drops out disconnecting my hearing aids. It’s really hard when I can’t hear people on the phone, the sound is also not good for the other person on the phone, they say they can’t hear me. I’m disappointed as I have to have fully functioning hearing aids for everyday conversation. Please tell me what to do. I’ve removed the app and reinstalled several times. Chris Morrow ### 3/5 — Needs 3 upgrades *2026-02-06* 1.When using the tv box, the volume always goes back to it’s high volume, it should stay where I set it. 2.The app takes too long to load and then to find the hearing aids, most of the time you have to open and close the battery door for the app to find them! 3.It is very inaccurate when it comes to the percentage of the battery level. But when you have to change the volume on your hearing aid the right and left aids change from your original settings for left and right and make them the same volume. This is no good! Also when you change programs from the aid, the left and right volumes both go to the same volume, not what was preset. This is no good for you have to use the phone app to reset your individual volumes. I sent email to bernafon and never got a reply. Die Kommunikation muss jeden Tag neu gestartet werden, obwohl das Mobiltelefon nicht ausgeschaltet wird. I have deleted and reloaded the app but that does not work for long. Don’t use it if you can. New update. After several more deletes and reinstalls along with changing batteries twice the app finally settled down and worked properly. Kind Regards, Bernafon ### 2/5 — Lacks precision Crude *2025-06-17* The first thing is battery life indication. A joke. One day it says 70% then 24 hours later it’s 100% and the day after 20%. Not accurate. Next … you have a frequency equaliser for streaming but not for normal use … why ? If the facility is there then why can’t you adjust for normal listening? It is very basic. The only worthwhile functions are controlled left / right balance and the find me thing which is slow and sticky but works if you are sensible and patient. **Developer response:** Dear Jonti007, thanks for your honest feedback. Das gabs bei der alten Version nicht. Wenn ich daran denke wie viel die Hörgeräte gekostet haben ist das nicht zu akzeptieren. Ich habe ein iPhone 13 mit der neuesten Betriebssoftware iOS 18.5. Daran kann es nicht liegen. Also liebe Programmierer bessert da unbedingt nach. ### 2/5 — Kein Zugewinn gegenüber EasyControl *2025-05-23* Man fragt, was den zwangsweisen Wechsel rechtfertigt und kommt zum Schluss, dass er wohl allein im Interesse des Anbieters liegt. Wie kann man eine unvollständig entwickelte App auf den Markt bringen, wenn die Alte funktionstüchtig war. Just sucks none of y insurance providers cover hearing coverage. Not even the city of Kingston benefits program. Or sun life long term disability insurance, or CPP.
