### 3/5 — Journal entry problems.

*2026-08-21*

Have asked for consideration for people who cannot type on their phones and cannot see well on phones. ACCESSIBLITY!!!! Please bring journal back to my computer screen. I love what Berry is helping me do but I am looking at changing because of ACCESSIBLITY!!! ALSO, on my phone currently trying to enter ingredients into my meal and suddenly I cannot enter the ingredients anymore. The journal is a critical piece of what my doctor needs to know to help with my health conditions…please hear me on the journal ACCESSIBLITY. Thank you.

### 3/5 — Love my dietician, app needs work

*2026-08-19*

My dietician is fantastic and I love working with her!! That being said, the app has a long way to go.
The AI it uses to identify food you have photographed is great, however when the app assigns ingredients not only are they won't, but also they assign calories incorrectly.
The stool tracker works ok, but adding a note is nearly impossible. The on-screen keyboard covers the notes section and doesn't have an option to close the keyboard. Even on the odd occasion I can get the keyboard to close, the app won't allow me to scroll down to where I can click save.

### 2/5 — App glitches

*2026-06-09, version 2.2.4*

My dietician is phenomenal, the app itself needs work. Constant glitches where I’m unable to log my meals and the AI features could be better. I try to log a meal and will have all macros shown in the picture when using the camera feature and it still makes up numbers.

### 2/5 — Great Program, but the app doesn’t work!

*2026-05-18, version 2.2.4*

Great Program, but the app doesn’t work!
I can’t record any meals, unless I delete the app and reinstall it every time. Bummer!

My dietitian is amazing, and I will keep working with her. Maybe the app start to work eventually.

### 3/5 — Check carefully

*2026-03-22, version 2.1.17*

It told me 4 Saltines were over 600 calories! Would be better if it allowed you to search under favorites or at least alphabetize them. Overall it has helped me see my eating patterns and improve.

### 5/5 — Teonna

*2026-03-20, version 2.1.17*

Teonna was very instrumental in helping me change some of my eating habits! I am forever greatful!

### 2/5 — Perhaps More Robust in the Future

*2026-03-19*

While I’m an absolute fan of the platform and program so far, I’m disappointed that the app integrations don’t hold. When I learned that BerryStreet would take my LoseIt entries so that they’d be visible by my coach, I was hooked! Who wants to enter food logs multiple times for each meal? However, I have to reset the integration multiple times a week because somehow, it stops syncing and pulling LoseIt data. It’s an inconvenience. If you’ve been a consistent logger who desires accuracy, for any period of time, this will be a challenge.

### 3/5 — Buggy but useful

*2026-03-14, version 2.1.17*

Initially an annoying experience it very useful once you figure out the “quirks”

### 4/5 — App could be better

*2026-03-12*

The dietician is wonderful. The app is simple to use but a bit frustrating in terms of entering food and measurements. You have to search a food, sometimes can’t even find what you’re eating, so you take a best guess. You’re unable to change how much you ate or drank of some things - everything is one serving. What is that serving? Who knows. Don’t know if what I’m consuming is accurately being recorded. Wish the platform was developed a bit more user-friendly. I don’t have time to fiddle around with an app, I need something easy to record and keep going.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-03-09, version 2.1.17*

My experience was excellent. Dr. Emily taught me a lot and love it and will do the right thing.

### 5/5 — Great Experience

*2026-03-04*

I had an amazing experience with my Berry Street nutritionist, Natasha Knoten. The session was incredibly informative and went far beyond surface-level nutrition advice. She took the time to explain the root causes of disease and helped me understand how our cells and organs actually function.

What I appreciated most was how she connected nutrition to the conscious mind—teaching me how to intentionally make better food choices instead of just reacting to cravings or habits. Her emphasis on choosing foods grown by the sun really shifted my perspective on what true nourishment looks like.

I now have a much deeper understanding of nutrition and feel empowered to make healthier decisions. I’m so grateful for the clarity and insight she provided. Highly recommend!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Does not read correctly

*2026-07-25, version 2.4.1*

The app is fine with communication with your dietitian, however it does not scan correctly, it does not log the meal correctly when you trying to place a meal. It reads food wrong, example, you put whopper from Burger King in and it will say Whoopers the candy. Not hamburger. Try correcting it and you can not, you have to delete the entire meal and start over. I currently and have been using Myfittnesspal and it works way better. The AI is not programed very smart

### 1/5 — The new update sucks

*2026-07-15, version 2.4.0*

I don’t know how to log my food anymore and the photo and search function are completely gone and when I try to write what I ate in the journal it won’t let me submit it. This is so frustrating because I got very straight strictly so I had an app to log my food and count the calories for me.

### 1/5 — terrible app, terrible customer service…run do not use this service.

*2026-06-25*

Absolutely terrible experience, terrible customer service and even worse business practices. I booked a nutritionist through them. For a time things were great, I worked with my nutritionist for a period of months with fairly limited issues. Their nutrition app was terrible but I digress that alone would not be grounds for a poor review. After a while my nutritionist just wasn't really putting their best foot forward. Told me they would do some research and follow up. Never really followed up on issues. I decided to use the "find new nutritionist" feature. Once I did I was setup with another one that I don't even believe was a real human. I attended 2 scheduled meetings and the provider was a no show both times. I reached out to customer support to let them know that my provider continued to miss appointments. I attempted on two separate occasions to message my provider through the Berry Street platform and still recieved no communication what so ever. After reaching out to customer support I was informed I could be set up with another dietician. I did not feel like wasting my time with this platform anymore. I kindly asked them to cancel my plan. They proceeded to bill me 75$ for not showing up to an appointment I was actively sitting in. I reached back out upset that they charged me and was told it would be refunded and my account was canceled. Less than 24 hours later they bill me another 75$ after being told my account was canceled. Stay away, massive headache and now a business with poor business practices has my health info on file.

### 1/5 — Need a better app

*2026-06-01, version 2.2.4*

This app and the AI features are very low quality and I hate working with it
I like my nutritionist but hate this app not user friendly

### 1/5 — Scam

*2026-04-17, version 2.1.35*

They rescheduled my supposed appointment and after that charged me for no show in their rescheduled appointments. $75?! That’s crazy, that’s a real scam

### 1/5 — Worst Customer Service

*2026-03-23, version 2.1.17*

I had my first session and I was very excited, but when I clicked the link, it said that the meeting had ended. I get an email after I complained saying that my insurance was not accepted. I know that that cannot be the case because I have Blue Cross Blue Shield.

### 1/5 — Buttons don’t work

*2026-03-12, version 2.1.17*

Very confused by the high reviews as this app does not seem to work. I’m on a newish iPhone and the button to save an edit, for example, does nothing.

### 1/5 — They will charge your card despite saying your first appointments are free

*2026-03-11*

I really wanted to like this app. Life happens. I canceled my appointment. I received multiple emails stating they received my cancellation, no problem. Days later I get an email stating they will be charging my card because I canceled within a 24 hour window. No warning, grace period, just policy. They are willing to refund me once I reschedule and have my appointment which takes away the excitement from the appointment. I will only be rushing the lady to wrap up the appointment so that I may be refunded (aiming for 1 minute if I can). In this economy, no one wants to worry about unexpected charges and fees. As soon as I get my refund I will be deleting this app. It doesn’t matter if the first 6-7 sessions are free with insurance. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, without warning they will charge you and then demand you reschedule and have a session just to get a refund. Not worth it

### 1/5 — App not loading

*2026-03-05, version 2.1.17*

I just make an account, app not loading, it’s just stuck on Berry

### 1/5 — This app..

*2026-03-02, version 2.1.17*

..Is still not the friendliest to use.. but I use it to keep in touch with my dietitian. So other than that, I’d put this app back into alpha stage before sending it out. I tend to use the Lose It app which can connect up to this app, but only half the info ever gets to the Berry St. ..and Lose It *FAR* superior to this app.. far superior..

So try making a whole new app and use Lose It as a good example.

Thanks.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed

*2026-08-13, version 2.4.4*

I love that my dietitian can see all my food so easily. Working with my dietitian at Berry Street when I started using this app made such a difference in my health. I feel so much better and I love the accountability from a real human.

### 5/5 — Great program

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-07-11, version 2.3.3*

I was skeptical in the beginning. Really easy to use and keep trap. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Go to care for nutrition

*2026-06-29*

I’ve been using Berry Street Nutrition Therapy for a year now. Prior to making my first appointment I had no clue what I needed to be eating for a healthier lifestyle. I needed to change my life around and that is exactly what my Registered Dietitian, Kirsten, did for me.
We meet at least 2 times a month. Medical Drs. just say eat less, exercise more as a way to get healthy. No sir that is not what we need to do to get healthy. Get healthy is a long term change and my RD has me on the right plan! If something doesn’t work, we work to figure out a next step. I love the app, too. It allows me to be in contact as needed.

### 5/5 — LOVE!

*2026-06-17, version 2.2.4*

Love that it’s covered by my insurance! Best step I’ve taken towards a healthier life so far!

### 5/5 — Quality care

*2026-06-08, version 2.2.4*

Excellent consult with dietitian as I began health journey. Unfortunately can’t continue service due to insurance. Recommend consulting with insurance before dietitian appt.

### 5/5 — My Journey

*2026-05-13, version 2.2.2*

I really glad I joined Berry St . I was currently in MIDI . The first meeting I had at Berry street was more informative and has continued to be informative. My Dietitian Dawn is amazing

### 5/5 — AI is Crazy!

*2026-04-28, version 2.1.35*

The app is very thorough once you find all the nooks and crannies, easy to use. AI is crazy, but funny!
