### 2/5 — Even when you pay it doesn’t work

*2025-05-02, version 1.2.1*

I was using the free trial and absolutely loved it so when looking at the subscriptions I saw you could pay for the whole year and it was a heck of a lot cheaper. I purchased the year subscription on the 30th and my trial was ending the first. Got charged and everything and the app is acting like I didn’t pay. I tried to contact the company using the email they provided but I haven’t heard back so I got my money back from Apple. Super bummed because this app has so much potential.

### 1/5 — Dissapointing

*2025-04-07, version 1.2.1*

I was honestly hoping this app would help me understand my cycle better, but after filling all details in, the app demanded money just to access the app?! I don't get it, even apps like flo provide basic features without paying, and this one is just a waste of time . I am so angry at the fact that women have to pay for basic information about their cycle, thats genuinely crazy

### 1/5 — Tf

*2025-04-06, version 1.2.1*

Wow what a nice app to improve mental health £7 please yeah forget it

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-03-27*

The app looked promising, unfortunately the subscription is too high. Hoping you guys can lower the subscription rates some day.

### 1/5 — $10 a week is $40 a month…?

*2025-03-24, version 1.2.1*

Great premise but why is it $40 a month?
I’m not paying $480 a year on an app.
I wish there was a free version or it was at a more affordable price. Even just be upfront that it will cost money and how much before getting people to download it thinking its free, and then being told to review it before using it and having to subscribe and pay before even seeing if they like how the app works.

### 1/5 — Costs money for a health app?

*2025-03-21, version 1.2.1*

I liked this app when I first got notified about it but when it showed it had to be payed for to be useable, that’s just annoying. It’s a health app and you need to pay money? Okay, sure. Dislike this app

### 1/5 — not a great introduction, i'll pass

*2025-03-20, version 1.2.1*

heard about the app on social media, and while i already use a cycle tracker i thought i'd check out what this app had.

before you can even get started with the setup of the app it asks you to leave a review and won't let you continue without doing so. felt super weird considering i just opened the app and don't even know what it wants me to review. i'm all for leaving reviews but this wasn't the way to do it.

i gave my details as normal, and as soon as i had finished it asked me to sign up for a week trial (not even a month to observe cycle accuracy?) with a yearly cost of roughly $130 AUD which personally was absolutely out of range, but that just depends on your circumstances. i didn't feel comfortable signing up because without paying, you literally cannot tell wether it's worth your money for a cycle based app only in a week. i just wish it asked me *before* i took the time to recall my habits and my last two cycles and my measurements....

clearly i can't make a comment on how good this app is because i never got to the point of actually using it and knowing if it was worth my cash, but with an introduction like that... i'll pass.

### 1/5 — disappointing

*2025-03-12, version 1.2.1*

$7 a week? no free version?

### 1/5 — dont walk, run (AWAY!)

*2025-03-11, version 1.2.1*

money hungry behaviour.

Downloaded this app because an influencer swore it was good. I don’t usually follow influencer recommendations because the products they promote are often overhyped and don’t really work. Decided to go stray from that tradition just once and unfortunately it didn’t work out.

The app makes you fill in ALL your data, from your birth year, to period cycles, to name and stress levels- and then after, demands you put in your card details and sign up for the subscription to even get started.

Why capitalise on women’s mental and physical health? We are already a vulnerable demographic. People download this app likely for extra support- such as trying to be healthy and fixing up their life, in which case, finding a way to mitigate stress (which may have occurred as a result of financial issues) could easily be the reason to download such an app. Even more so, women get paid less on average than men. You are well aware that women are not favoured in society, but you insist on making money on their shortcomings. This behaviour is similar to that of VULTURES.

The app puts up a facade that they’re friendly and going to help, with little gimmicks such as the ‘cute’ mutated strawberry mascot ,when in reality, none of the services promised are actually provided unless you pay up.

If you want your service to be a paid one, fine I guess? It’s your app
at the end of the day. Just don’t prey on hopeful users and masquerade as an ergonomic wellness app for ALL. Don’t trick people with the ‘free’ download button. Don’t make people fill in sensitive data and waste their time- only to be smacked in the face with a paywall.
An app doesn’t need to demand a subscription from all users to function. Let’s make it clear that adverts exist.
Let’s also make it clear that the service demands £6.99 A WEEK. Yes girls, not monthly, weekly.

### 1/5 — €€€

*2025-03-10*

Sadly way to expensive they should have set it from 8€/$ weekly to 8€/$ monthly

### 1/5 — yikes. deleting app

*2025-03-10, version 1.2.1*

was excited until I realized it’s AI lol

### 1/5 — 7€?

*2025-03-09*

I really love the design of the app because an influencer talked about it but I ain’t paying 7€ per week! Why isn’t there a free version but you wouldn’t be able to use every tool? Would be much better than that. I’m really disappointed

### 1/5 — No free version

*2025-03-08, version 1.2.1*

I didn’t even get to use it, not sure why they’re so overwhelmed, but I’m not paying $7/week for this service.

“Currently, we are a little overwhelmed though. To ensure everyone gets the best experience, we ask that you sign up for a free trial before continuing on.
You are able to cancel at any time!”

### 1/5 — Veriate

*2025-03-04, version 1.2.1*

Not even a free version for those who want to try it...

### 2/5 — Wanted to love this but it just doesn’t work

*2025-03-04, version 1.2.1*

After inputting my info I was told I was in my luteal phase. This was correct. Next morning it told me I was follicular, then the next I was ovulating and the next I was follicular again. That makes zero sense. So it made all my recommendations wrong as I was luteal all four days! I kept telling berry and she suggested recipes etc which was nice. But I had to correct her every time which is frustrating. Potentially a good app but that makes it unusable. I emailed support but never had a response.

### 2/5 — Weekly subscription

*2025-02-27*

App seems great but tbvh the weekly subscription is really high

### 1/5 — 🙄

*2025-02-27, version 1.2.1*

I ALREADY DID THE FREE TRIAL, JUST LET ME USE THE APP

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I wanted to love it, needs some tweaking

*2026-07-02, version 1.2.1*

I wanted to love this app, I heard about it on TikTok & thought it’d be super helpful for cycle syncing. However, I did the free trial & the app itself doesn’t seem to work…when asking questions to “berry” it has not answered a single question. Just stays on the “…” bubble with no answers or info loading. Not sure if it’s just me, but I did not find it helpful

### 1/5 — Waste

*2025-08-17, version 1.2.1*

Makes you fill out your info before letting you know the app costs 10$/week

### 1/5 — no free option

*2025-08-15, version 1.2.1*

usually you can use the app without paying but not with this app. i wish it told you that before filling out your information

### 1/5 — My free trial

*2025-06-17*

I did the autopay and now I am unable to access your app. I can’t access my free trial.

### 1/5 — App is nice but the price is crazy

*2025-06-05, version 1.2.1*

Not worth the high price

### 1/5 — Money is all they want 🙄✋🏻

*2025-05-27, version 1.2.1*

I heard about this app on TikTok and was actually interested to try it out but I don’t even know how it is and whether it works well or not and it Immediately asks for a subscription, like is it THAT necessary? Just let me have it for free and if I really want exclusive stuff then u can offer me a subscription, everything is business these days seriously 🙄

### 1/5 — Review

*2025-05-21, version 1.2.1*

Don’t like that you won’t let me use the app until I leave a review. I don’t even have an account yet. FOLLOW UP: Just finished the sign up questionnaire and no thank you; $7 a week is actually crazy.

### 1/5 — Subscription locked 🙄

*2025-05-21, version 1.2.1*

Was really excited to use this app as it’s so so cute and was a nice way to have a bunch of information in one place. However i cannot justify $9.99 a week for something that can be done for free on other apps, even if it does look very cute. Also immediately asking people to rate the app after downloading is super annoying, especially when the subscription barrier is only a few more clicks away

### 1/5 — Way too expensive

*2025-05-19, version 1.2.1*

$40 a month is an insane price. This is not worth it and too basic to be such a high price point.

### 1/5 — Must Pay To Use The App

*2025-04-21, version 1.2.1*

Don’t waste your time on this app. After filling in the details about myself it immediately made me commit to a free trial and after the free trial is over you have to purchase the weekly subscription in order to use it.. it is not free which is absolutely ridiculous.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-02-15, version 1.2.1*

OMG I’m obsessed. Gives best advice - literally use this everyday

### 5/5 — I just got on and I love it

*2024-12-22, version 1.0.5*

I think you should make more apps some without money tho because you never know peoples situation

### 5/5 — Berry review

*2024-11-21, version 1.0.5*

This app is life changing!
I have never felt more in control of my health, both physical and mental. It is also an great way to figure out what your menstrual cycle is. The Berry app is an incredible guide for young girls and women 💕

### 5/5 — Cycle syncing made easy!

*2024-09-02, version 1.0.1*

This app helps me figure out what to eat and how to exercise based on my phase which has fixed my mood and overall health so much :)

### 5/5 — Best cycle app

*2024-08-26, version 1.0.1*

ive tried so many other apps like this but berry is by far the most personalized!!! i know this app is brand new but im so excited i just discovered it. whoever made this deserves an award thank you!!!

### 3/5 — Bug? AI won’t load

*2025-05-15, version 1.2.1*

Can someone help me I’ve downloaded the app and it’s pretty nice UI but the AI won’t respond at all and only loads. I’ve tried asking it some questions but it just never respond I’m only met with a loading ellipsis.

### 3/5 — I wish it didn’t include a subscription

*2024-11-28, version 1.0.5*

I used the free-trial of the app for the week and I loved it, especially learning about the process of cycle synching. But as it was a free-trial, once it was over I was told to pay $9.99 a week for use which just isn’t possible for me. I don’t think it should cost money to help educate and guide women about cycle synching, nutrition etc. Maybe if there was a more modified version for free and there was an option to subscribe to unlock more, but so far I won’t be able to continue. I wish I could though.

### 3/5 — Needs Some Tweaking

*2024-11-09, version 1.0.5*

I like that this app is easy to use and gives suggestions about cycle syncing but it is not accurate with keeping up with the cycle phase you are in. It needs to have a better period tracking mechanism for it to make more sense and be more useful.

### 2/5 — cant be used for free :/

*2025-07-09, version 1.2.1*

i like the app except you have to pay, even though it does give you a 7 day free trial.

### 2/5 — It’s a good app and gives helpful advice but

*2025-06-13, version 1.2.1*

the cycle syncing isn’t accurate with what I tell them. I’m currently i. my ovulation phase, getting ready to go into my luteal phase for instance but it thinks im on my period when Imm not and literally said I wasn’t.
