### 5/5 — Great little app!

*2024-07-16*

This one really does what it says, no fuss. After playing for a few hours, I can think of a few simple enhancement e.g. a live view mode where a picture is taken at regular intervals.
Also it is not totally clear how the scale parameter works.
Still a great tool for Rpi camera users.

### 2/5 — Update coming?

*2021-12-08*

App needs to be updated to incorporate the recent changes in PI OS camera commands.

I like the app, it would be a lot more useful if the GUI incorporated timelapse and video - basically an open source GoPro.

### 2/5 — No Live Preview

*2020-08-22*

Not having such an expected function doesn’t help the experience.

Since there is no live preview there is now way of knowing what the picture will look like before taking a pic.

**Developer response:** Hi there... something to consider in the future but yeh focus is on making this as easy to get up and running as possible for most folks without the need to set up complex streaming applications on their Pi. Once I have posted an upcoming update on the app itself, I’ll take a look and see what options I can consider. Hope the inconvenience of not previewing doesn’t hinder you too much... I liken it to using an old film camera and it’s quite fun not knowing what you’re going to get

### 4/5 — Great remote control of the raspberry pi camera

*2020-05-30*

Is there any chance of getting support for the new HQ Raspberry Pi camera?

In the past I've found BerryCam very useful for wireless control of astrophotography with the Raspberry Pi camera module. It has been quite reliable and gives access to most of the options I need. I did have to modify the python script that runs the server on the Raspberry Pi to add the time lapse parameters that I need, but that was not too hard.

**Developer response:** Hi there yes currently working on a new version which will cover the functionality of the new HQ Camera. I’ve been testing it for a number of weeks and pretty happy with the results. Looking to post the update very soon.

Thanks for your kind comments!

### 5/5 — Works well on pi4

*2019-08-26*

Pi: Pi 4 (4gb)
OS: Raspbian (Buster)
Cam: V2.0 8mp

Remarkably simple setup. I was able to ssh over my phone and get the necessary .py file. Thats all you need actually. Run the script and enter the ip address of the pi on the app and you’re up running. Took all of 2 minutes. I haven't ran into any of the issues others have been mentioning.

### 1/5 — Fails to launch

*2019-03-31*

I updated the app to Mt rasperry pi IP address, and now it fails to launch.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear this. Drop me a note info@fotosyn.com and I’ll do my best to help you.

### 2/5 — Keine Funktion!

*2019-03-23*

### 5/5 — Great

*2018-06-17*

Easy to set on raspberries pi, just 2 unix cmd lines, on app site you just need to provide the ip.
Clean and easy to use, honestly great developers with sense on simplicity and professionalism 😉
Really enjoyed

### 2/5 — would like it more if it worked

*2018-03-21*

every time I take a photo I get sent back to my desktop, and no picture is taken.

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear this. Drop me a note info@fotosyn.com and I’ll do my best to help you.

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2018-01-31*

Nice job building the app. Easy setup, slick interface, 5 stars.
